We coulda had Bernie...
  • The president isn't actually running the entire county himself, Biden's government isn't fundamentally different from Obama's, Trump also, very obviously from his first term, didn't have much involvement at all in his government. The appointments, the policies his government focus on is a very big deal. Which 80 year old napping from 12pm to 5pm and going to bed, is not the difference that matters.

  • On the Internet, what is a dead giveaway that someone is actually a kid?
  • Very confidently wrong, poor reading comprehension, poor grammar, limited vocabulary, emoji gore, catch phrase/pop culture quotes/talking points repeated with no comprehension of what they're saying, clearly not aware of how many things in life work, religious regurgitation while being surprised everyone doesn't agree with them. Very easily impressed with basic factual statements, clearly thinking confidence is the main thing that makes someone correct. Thinks their mom telling they they are handsome is a valid point. Idk, that's all I got.

  • It's exhausting...
  • The gap between Hillary's popular vote win and Trump's electoral college win is the biggest gap in US history. We've never had so many votes ignored. I agree with you the voters aren't too blame.

  • It's exhausting...
  • Yeah, the FBI director got ahold of Anthony Wiener's laptop because he's a fucking awful dirtbag, and at some point his wife had logged into her work email, so IDENTICAL information from The State Department was on it, so FBI big brain decides to make a big ol press conference to reopen the case against Hillary Clinton days before the election just in case maybe there was more than just duplicate information. Except, he already knew it was all duplicate information. Everyone with a brain new it was all duplicate information.

What a brilliant guy. He deserves a lot more blame than he's ever gotten.

  • I came to see that which is hidden, but I have seen the true face of the unknowable, the fathomless depth of worlds never ment to be explored. I will return to my reality, and tell all, there is nothing beyond the mist.

Section 8 is profitable, the number of apartments avaliable is severly low, it's low yield investing, so people don't invest in it.

If you don't want them shitting in the street, Maybe you need a city ordinance that all housing companies that rent or lease more than 5 properties must be section 8 available. Maybe you need a law that section 8 isn't to be the red tape nightmare that it VERY INTENTIONALLY is, as Republicans who can't eliminate these programs often settle for making them so absurdly difficult to use that they might as well be eliminated. Maybe it can be a simple program that's easy to use, then the profitability will seem more attractive, as it's already a profitable program according to rental investment companies.

  • They weren't communist, they were state capitalists, if you ask any serious person that knows anything about economic systems they will agree, that's the common consensus. Want another example of a state capitalist country? That's us. The US is a state capitalist country. Why? Well.. when a business fails, and the government props them up. That's state capitalism.

  • AOC wants to impeach SCOTUS justices following Trump immunity ruling
  • I really don't think that's true. People said the same with Obama, and he really never faced that in voters, the GOP was viciously attacking him and it never stuck. There is a stage big enough, that the most vicious attackers do get lost in the crowd.

  • Freeloaders
  • They don't drug test on SNAP Benifits, because everytime the GOP tries to pass a bill to do so, the ways and means committee reminds them that it would more than double the cost of the SNAP program to pay for even the most lenient drug testing. But they do try every few years.

They would rather pay more than the entire program already, to get those filty poors off assistance.

Also some fun facts, most SNAP recipients are children, most are white, and most make enough money to no longer need assistance in under 5 years, at which point they are back to paying taxes. Which pays for SNAP. Making the system quite self- sustaining. It's cost is minuscule to tax payers, and yet it's a constant wedge issue, why? Because of America's greatest fear, that if we do something that benefits people, we might accidently help the wrong people. People who aren't even white.

  • It's not in human nature to limit your own power. I'm voting for Biden, for his appointments and admin, I have nothing against him, but my experience is that no one relinquishes power. Once the office has the power, no one's going to let it go.
