What if I told you the judicial branch is doing its job because it was always evil to begin with?
Hasn't it been proven unsolvable?
Then get ready to learn Rust, buddy.
As much legacy code as has been written in C++, I'd think a total rewrite might be better ironically, in terms of passing on important institutional knowledge, to the extent large-scale production codebases are concerned. Attacking it bit by bit (pun not intended) might even take longer than just ripping things up and starting anew.
3 YoE here as a full-stack dev. I'm not getting shit. Apps are in the multiple hundreds, and not one interview anywhere.
You guys hiring?
Joke's on Gallup, I'll be dead before I'm formally diagnosed with depression
That's such a stupid change. TIL, though. Thanks for the heads up!
When's Pi-thon supposed to release? Next year? 2026?
:(
You guys remote and hiring? Lol
I just know I'm a bad engineer. No matter how hard I work to understand things like JS, large scale file organisation in a production codebase confuses me. Why is this a component? Why is this code in app.js and not in a component? Why do these things appear in this position on the page? Note that I'm still asking this with 3 YoE, so I don't feel great about myself haha.
But what if I'm the dipshit? I fucking hate formal wear and I'll die before I willingly enjoy dressing up.
I can download all the books for free
How?!
If I end up getting a promotion I'll have to consider that. It's just a lot of money for me right now, because my current employer doesn't pay shit at my title/rank.
Wait, you guys have bank balances?
Is that on your personal machine, though?
Oh if only I could get my work to pay for it. Unfortunately, I'm in a megacorp that would shove said request so far down into bureaucracy hell...
Looking for a guide to TypeScript for idiots
The issue? I'm the idiot. Any suggestions for a guide to JS/TS for someone trying to learn about front-end development.
Struggling to get interviews
Does anyone have tips for getting interviews? I'd like to think I do well enough when I get them since I'm 3-for-3 on offers, but I can't seem to get them. I'm working on shifting out of a big 4 consultancy back to industry either in the civilian space sector or in game dev. But it's hard to puff up my résumé because I'm not much into playing the whole bs game, and autism does me no favours in networking. Suggestions?
