What is the point of fast food anymore
  • A while ago, I was charging at a highway stop, so I decided to quickly get something to drink at McDonald's. I just asked ordered a drink, nothing more. One lady started preparing the drink and put it somewhere behind the counter. I was right there, but she didn't hand it to me. I asked if she could give it, as it was the only thing I had ordered. She mentioned she was not allowed to hand over the order to customers, and she was waiting for someone else who was allowed to. It took roughly 10 minutes before I had my drink, it was very frustrating, especially for a "fast" food chain.

  • Everybody has a David in their lives
  • Okay, so you're actively risking yours and other peoples lives to have this meaningless discussion? That makes David dumb? You then acknowledge how dumb driving and texting is yourself?

It doesn't read like you are the brightest bulb on my screen either.

  • There's almost always a more deserving community that could use some good content and growth!
  • It's larger than I would like it to be, sure. But claiming a country is fascist based on 25% is just wrong. You would be right if it were the majority. Besides, if you look at the details you'll see that many people used the far right as a protest vote (which I despise, but not the point). I doubt and perhaps hope those people aren't actually fascist.

  • Are you saying that The Netherlands is fascist, or the people hosting Lemmy.world? I don't know about the latter, but regarding the former: The Netherlands has a multiparty system, in which the fascist right party you refer to, only got 37/150 seats. With it, it became the largest party in the government today, but it only represents roughly 25% of all voters. Therefore the majority of the country isn't fascist, so I don't see how your comment makes any sense.
