The biggest plus of polymeric sand over the utility sand would be that the utility sand will eventually grow weeds, where the polymeric won't. Do you want to be trying to kill weeds every year? If not, cover the patio with a tarp for the winter and use the polymeric next spring.

I recently bought one like you're talking about for $1.79 on aliexpress. It's surprisingly decent. It communicates as a normal webcam when plugged into your PC so you can just open up the built in camera app if you're on windows and it shows up. Also came with normal endoscope accessories, eg. Hook, magnet, mirror attachment.
I run Hydra on all of my Ender 3 Pros and I love them. Cooling with the dual 5015s is so much better than stock, and the modularity of the fan mount made it so I can mount a CR touch right to the hotend fan and have a zero X offset bed leveling.
