We'd all get arrested, our lovely Conservative government has essentially made many forms of demonstration illegal! Besides, no-one is that desperate as yet. There'd need to be some massively bad situation to drive people to go that far and we're some way from that. We're also the antithesis of the French in terms of inclination to strike! Stiff upper lip and all that!
I'm deciding between those two (again!) myself. I really like the Greens social policies, but they ran Brighton and Hove council pretty badly from what I've heard so not sure they've got the personnel to do the basics. I'm edging towards libdem but if only Ed Davey wasn't involved in the post office scandal...
Yeah both Labour and Conservatives have a long history of not delivering election promises once in power. So much so it's pretty much expected. It's a pretty useless way of trying to decide on who to vote for unfortunately! I personally look at the character of the party members as a guide as well as the base principles of the party when there's not an election due.
Many of us would love that, but it's in the hands of those in power...and they won't change it unless they think it'll be to their advantage, which neither of the two main parties are ever likely to do as the current system supports them as being the two most likely to win power.
Mine are stiff-drawered, plastic-trayed and unappealing to the eye. Someone out there would trip whilst walking passed for the first time, but not me.
The comma, the horror! Couldn't help but focus on that myself!
Had a quick search: "Grow Alocasia 'Polly' in bright light out of direct sunlight, in free draining peat-free compost. A minimum temperature of 16ºC is perfect, ideally in a humid location, such as a bathroom. If the room isn't humid enough, you can increase humidity levels by standing the pot on a tray filled with pebbles and then add water until it rises to just below the bottom of the pot."
If relevant, try addressing humidity and ensure it stays out of direct sunlight. It could be waiting until conditions are favourable.
Well they got one thing right...They didn't turn out well.
I spent two months or so travelling around the north and south islands and barely saw any sheep! Far more cows strangely. I didn't feel like I had missed anything and wasn't actively looking gor them, but it was surprising!
I know, and they just keep trying to walk the ball into the net.
It amazes me that no-one ever seems to say (not that I have seen, at least)...Isreal is a western, democratic state with nuclear weapons in the middle east.
It's basically a major power base for the west in the predominantly arab part of the world.
Anything else is a side arguement as far as I'm concerned.
It looks like cornflower and knapweed seeds of UK species, so I'd expect a relative native to that region. Sow it, they've got a good rate of germination so you could find out that way :)
Like it or not, you always knew when the party was kicking off when someone put this on!
I don't think in terms of respect about something like this as this leans towards some kind of snobbery or predudice. Either I agree or don't. Regardless of any perceived level of knowledge or intelligence behind an argument, I'll respond as a point of advancing shared knowledge rather than trying to 'win'.
The owl look great and I'm glad you explained what the fish was for! ;) drinks cover is a good idea too :)
Having The Doctor as a contestant on Master Chef...now that would be messing with the programming. Soufflé girl could work though...
On a side thought, Master Cheif as a Disney princess....
Good point, I'd forgotten about that. The intro special to the new series does already show a certain step up special effects. Not sure I'm overly keen on that, the roughness has always been a bit of a charm for me!
Definitely the most disturbing part. I could live with the rest of it.
Eat less meat. Far more vegetables can be grown on the same amount of land.
