Aliens Premiere 1986
  • I've heard so many good things about this book, I just finished Dune, so I think I'll listen to that this week at work.

  • The only way to be sure

  • I'm glad we will get to see this on the big screen, I assumed it would be released for streaming like Prey.

  • I like Rexodus

  • Which is your favorite?
  • I always loved Prometheus, even though some of the characters did very silly things. That medbay scene will always stick with me.

I haven't read all of the books, but quite a few. Phalanx really should have been the third film. It's an incredibly good story.

  • That's a great policy, I fully agree. I'll definitely grab it if it looks good.

Cool, it looks like we are getting an Aliens: X-Com

    Which is your favorite?

Hi everyone and welcome! I see us lemmings have no place to discuss the best franchise out there, so I created this community.

To get the ball rolling, how about a classic list of your favorite Alien franchise content? I'll go first

    1 - Alien

    2 - Aliens

3 - Aliens: Phalanx (excellent book)

    4 - Prometheus

    5 - Alien: Resurrection

    6 - Alien 3

    7 - Alien Covenant

  • I was incredibly proud of the trek community for boldly going into the new frontier of the internet. Taking the entire subreddit for the ride could have really helped mass adoption of decentralized social networking. I expected the sub to reopen eventually, but I'm pretty disappointed by the reaction of those currently posting in that thread. If any fanbase should be willing to move forward with the times, we should.

So how long until they kick legacy mods from r/startrek and reopen?
  • That's probably a good guess. Either that or trying to sell it to them somehow.

  • That space jump sequence was the best part of the episode. I felt that.

  • I agree, too much over the top action for my tastes, and the super serum was pretty silly. At least the Klingons were handled well. I like the look of them this season far better than anything else from this era of new Trek. They acted like Klingons too.

  • Have we seen them use Compound V before? I don't recall it in the first season.

  • What are some good sites to download comics?
  • I really love the Tachiomi android app. You just add sources and build an endless library of comics to read right in the app and download.

  • Favorite Science Fiction Books
  • I just finished listening to To Sleep In A Sea Of Stars. I really enjoyed it, and the audiobook version is narrated by Jennifer Hale (Sheppard from Mass Effect)
