The best open-source games you know
  • I remember playing this with a friend. We modified the source code to allow us to use the fast-forward functionality in an online mutiplayer game. Once we figured out how to make proper grade-separated junctions, it ended up becoming quite a tedium. I wish Transport Fever had a multiplayer mode.

  • What's everyone else up to in magic the gathering?
  • I'm playing a lot of Commander and some Modern and Pioneer. Will be dipping my toes into fully proxied Legacy soon. Overall, I prefer the theme building and deckbuilding freedom in Commander, but I can also appreciate the 60 card competitive gameplay.

Recently I scrapped my Perrie, the Pulverizer deck after it wasn't performing. I turned it into a Denry Klin deck, hoping to try that out soon!

  • What's your favourite format?

What format do y'all enjoy playing the most? I love the deckbuilding freedom in Commander and I'm kinda addicted to optimizing my decks. Some week I put more cantrips in all of my decks, another time I'm thinking I need more graveyard hate and slot more Scavenger Grounds in my decks.

    Following remote communities is hard.

It's easy to discover communities on my instance via the dedicated page in the hamburger menu. But let's say I want to follow a community on another instance, such as [email protected] . I might have found its name mentioned in a post or comment. When I click on the provided link, I'm thrown on that instances web page, from which I of course can't subscribe.

So what I instead have to do is to copy the description of the link and paste it in my instance's search bar. Which isn't easy, since it's a link, so there isn't even a straightforward way to select the link text without clicking the link. This seems very unintuitive and makes the process of joining a whole bunch of communities tedious. Is there a better way?
