When I was in college in a criminal justice program, several instructors repeated this over and over (except I believe it was "... carried by 6".

Sometimes meds are the right answer. I've been on antidepressant/antianxiety meds for close to 20 years. It took a while to find the right combo/dose, but the meds allow me to experience happiness and allow me to quiet those intrusive thoughts where I was unable before. They don't alter my mood. They allow me the freedom from cripplingly poor brain chemistry that was preventing me from achieving happiness and calm.
My experience may not be anyone else's. Your mileage may vary. But don't dismiss the idea out of hand.

Also worth noting that research indicates that the fathers can experience symptoms similar to post-partum depression as well. I'm not armchair diagnosing anything or anyone, but the strain of a newborn is real. Take care of each other and yourself too.
There are wipe warmers that are pretty cheap, with varying quality. My spouse has them all over the house.
As others have said, he's not being intentional about anything even though it sure feels like it. I swear my little one waits to hear the rustling of the sheets of me getting into bed after putting her in the crib to go all "car alarm" on us.
Your frustration and sleep deprivation is real. Communicate with your partner. Make sure you're both helping each other as much as possible and giving grace to each other. If you ever sense you're close to acting on your feelings and frustration, put the kid in a safe space or with a safe person and take 5. Take 10. Do what it takes to get that under control and remember that this little being is not malicious.
You will make it through this.

My wife and I recently had a child. We came home the other day to a book in the mail; "The Little Engine That Could". It was sent by a foundation that Dolly either started or contributes heavily to. She chose that book as the introductory book because it reminds her of the struggles her father endured and overcame learning to read.
