Or you really like studying worms. But that would be whataboutism wouldn't it?
Thank you, I came here to snark about this being a once every odd year activity for valve. But you're absolutely right, it is a gaming landmark and it has an active and devoted community. And it's one of the few games of that kind that still exist from that time that allows the community to add new content and play in and around it.
I also really hope they continue to support that too.
So, you're in favour after Thatcher then? Because you make it sound like a direct competition.
Yeah? Well this is razzle dazzle camo I think we all know who'll be seen last.
I guess this is where the concept of the "nuclear family" comes from then? After the initial courtship hostilities, the escalation of the arms race is inevitable.
I know what you mean, it's a bit sort of generic Anime.
There's such a wealth of incredible artwork related to LOTR, both illustrations from the various publications and all the stuff from the films, that this just looks a bit amateur in comparison.

They are allowed to vote, but everybody now has to present a valid form of id when casting their vote.
The issue is there's some kind of veteran card that's not considered a valid form of id for things like this. In the same way that student id cards aren't valid.
I particularly like the corners. That's what I want from high concept food, edges.

If you think this contains spoilers lmk, I listened to it early on and didn't feel that way but I'm happy to take this down if we feel otherwise.
I still haven't got my head round the cards tbh, it's a hell of a lot more involved than the mirror. You really do have to think about the build you're going for, then plan the cards accordingly.
It's not like switching Gods Favour on and off on the mirror, you really have to consider what you can live without.
That said, I'm finding that the effect of limiting your choices has a far greater effect on your gameplay than the mirror did. It's really interesting.
I'm not seeing as huge an effect on gameplay with the weapon aspects yet? Outside of maybe one or two which do drastically change it imo. I'm still kind of feeling like that's more to do with my lack of understanding of the weapons maybe.
It feels way bigger to me, I've already got 60hrs and I feel like I'm still getting into the swing of it.
Agreed. It took me a significant number of runs to get past. Though to be fair I also kept getting distracted by their songs.
It's like H1 though, it's all about upgrading your Arcana. I was stuck on Asterius and the clown until I figured the mirror out.
I put a few hours in today and it's already everything I'd hoped it would be. And you're right about the story, it feels like you get much deeper into it much sooner than you did in H1.
Don't want to spoiler anything, but the music is so fucking good.
Looks like "For our connoisseur of" then it looks like a name, "Mae. l"? Could be a misspelling of a date "Mai 1st"?
Then it looks like "On behalf of" and a name I can't make out, possibly Wilf Pinsz(?) and what looks like an address, "Main S, Mombae" under that is what looks like "Haupfstr 46" which could be shot for Haupfstrasse 46, another part of the address perhaps?
Edit: just to write it in full. "For our connoisseur of Mae L/May 1st. On behalf of Wilf Prinsz(?), Main St, Mombae, Haupfstrasse 46".
What does relatively soon mean Supergiant Games? WHAT DOES RELATIVELY SOON MEAN???
I wouldn't be at all surprised if the beauty filters were directly inspired by autotune, given that the first (I think?) app was called facetune.
That sounds an awful lot like a portmanteau of facetime and autotune.
Oh shit. What does it actually mean then?
[Discussion] Vote mechanics
What kind of threshold should a vote have to pass before being implemented? Do we really want to be making changes based on a vote that only got one "Aye"? Ten Ayes? Over 50% of the user base?
What kind of vote engagement can we reasonably expect to achieve? Is it actually likely that 50% of the user base will engage with any particular vote? Are there any useful presidents out there?
Who should be responsible for counting the votes when they're over? Perhaps the OP tallies the votes and edits the post?
Is there an easy test the mods can apply to a tallied vote to allow them to check whether it's passed? Something that is not open to interpretation and results in a clear directive to make a change?
I'm also kind of testing out this discussion format as a way of generating things to vote on i.e DISCUSSION > POLL > VOTE seems to make sense.
We'll see :)
