Private WiFi camera for out of town viewing. Live view only. No storage.
  • No nothing. I've been busy so setting up home assistant hasn't happened. I have a server PC but haven't done anything with it yet. Currently dont have the time. I just need to pop in install live feed and pop out the next day. So something live only and quick is what I need. I'm familiar with tailscale.

Is there a WiFi camera with an app for viewing when away from home, that has decent privacy? Plug and play would be nice. Limited time to do major setup as in 2 hours tops. Cost is fine nothing into 4 digits. Recording not neccesary. No storage is needed. Simple live viewing is all.

Cheapest form of balanced electrolytes for daily use?
  • Not sure why there are downvotes here. Vitamins, minerals, and salts get washed out overtime especially flooding with water in the system can throw things off quick. Something balanced is ideal to keep up on all needed electrolytes. This is for a serious health condition. Not a run through the park.

  • Cheapest form of balanced electrolytes for daily use?
  • No intense exercise for me. Just daily around the house moving. I'm incapable of anything intense due to how bad my dehydration is amongst other major health issues. I'm in the hospital a lot for testing each month. Have been to various specialist for years. Still no help fighting multiple issues. I've nearly died 2 times from health issues related to digestion and weight loss.

  • what's your favorite hydration drink? bonus points if it's a drink mix
  • Thyroid condition? How could she be so low on uptake of calories if she is truly getting enough. Some other autoimmune disease or organ issue? There's lots of factors could play into uptake and processing of foods. Allergies to foods..

  • No reliable way to test there is a handheld sensor but its 25 dollars per test and is so accurate down to 2ppm that it throws a ton of false positives on GF items. So not worth messing with. I can tell within an hour I've ingested contaminated food. Symptoms last days. Its miserable when your body attacks itself. It breaks your body down quickly over time. Pay attention to thirst, digestive upset, fatigue, brain fog, everyone is different as its an autoimmune disease. Get in tune with your body. How old are you? Also try to find out who in your family it came from and speak with them. Get family tested if you don't know. It'd genetic. Keep a food log is the best way and don't change items you consume more than one new consumable per day or you won't know which in your log affected you and trial and error that kills your body isn't fun to do. If your young you might not know contammed food right away but as your bodies reaction gets worse and breaks down overtime and the gut microbiome changes to your new GF diet your symptoms and notice will likely change. Find a well rounded vitamin supplement keep up on vitamin level checks in your bloodwork as you likely will become deficient over time of whatever your body needs. Hidden sources of gluten are in everything it seems. Toothpaste, soaps, shampoos, detergents, dishsoaps, other things besides food and drinks. Mostly due to poor manufacturing or transport practices. Again 1 new item per day. Don't change what you consume all the time. Learn, read or watch videos. Just because you don't feel the affects now doesn't mean it won't pound your body over years until your suffering daily just to maintain. Some people fair better than others so my POV is for someone like me. Super sensitive and debilitating lasting effects.

  • Be very cautious about eating out. I have been sick more times than I can count from GF places, or even asking waiters or chefs if items are GF and their incorrect after assuring me as such. Cross contamination is the biggest factor. Surfaces, dishes, hands and utensils. Papa John's has a GF pizza but if its drug across the same counter and used in the same oven as glutenous pizzas then your wasting your time and money but most importantly health. Some certified GF products can still cause reactions. Such as Oats due to similar protein structures. Watch meats. Mostly chicken as almost all chicken is injected with broths and juices. Spices are risky due to the high cross contamination factor. Find foods that work with you and stick to them. I don't know how sensitive you are. I am extremely sensitive. Which means I cook my own foods, don't eat out, travel with dishes and cook on seperate equipment. Wash rinse produce thoroughly. Avoid long ingredient lists. Keep it simple. When in doubt web search get a consensus from multiple sources. Get your vitamin levels checked atleast once a year if not twice to watch how you body responds get a full CBC with platelets to spot inflammation and how your reacting. I'm bombarding with info its 230am for me. Ask questions. Easier for me to get notifications to know you need help. Message a few times if you need. Get in tune with your body tailor your needs to how you feel. Find an electrolyte drink you like keep a few close by. Stay well hydrated. For flushing out. I carry a 32oz glass or stainless bottle. What is and are your symptoms, gender? Even down to the details matter for each symptom because those are your battle points to know how to move. Every action causes a reaction which then needs an counter. Never stop learning stay inquisitive. Cross reference facts. Health is wealth. Get used to friends, family, or anyone else not knowing or understanding what gluten is. GI Dr.s and specialists included. Get hard copies of all medical paperwork even bloodwork ups. Everything every time. No exceptions. You will often spot things before your Dr if you study and know your body. Helps to see trends over time or to be prepared for future issues appointments etc. There is no cure its life long. Stay positive. If your super bad disposable surfaces are your friend like foil to cook on. Avoid plastics for utensils and dishes as with any porous material. Metal and glass only eaisest to wash. Its 3 am almost. I'm out. I'll be here if you have questions. I don't get on here often. DM me with medical, questions, whatever you need.

  • I'll check them out. Thanks. After review their not positive their gluten free. Which for me won't work. Or I'd have to trial and error each one and take the chance of getting sick to know. I should ammend my post.

  • What about missing out on all the other vitamins, minerals, to have it completely balanced as far as the list of what gets depleted when your severely dehydrated over time. Have you had an issues using your formula longterm?

  • Cheapest form of balanced electrolytes for daily use?
  • I'm not looking for anything in particular. Just the cheapest route to severe electrolyte loss preferably something that balanced for vitamin, mineral, salt. I'm OK with formulas and DIYs or off the shelf products. Healthiest, then cost. As I require intense daily electrolytes for medical reasons.

  • Cheapest form of balanced electrolytes for daily use?
  • I have tried a few DIYs even juices from fruit and honestly my go to is always body armour and I hate it simply for the plastic bottle and the cost but also drinking them as often as I need the taste gets old. Nothing else hydrates as good for me. Its horrible having to go through many powders and types to find something that works. The only sweetener that isn't artificial comes form a plant is Stevia leaf extract its the lesser evil you might say. Its easiest on the GI tract without any lingering aftertaste that I notice. I'm looking to go full DIY with supplements and water if I have to. Anything to maintain hydration at this point product, drink, powders, IV attached at the arm on a pole lol. I have never heard of that brand. I'm going to search a bit on them. I hope you and your daughter do well. Chronic health issues are so very depleting.

Title says it all. I'm looking for serious electrolyte powder, drink, supplement, DIY that is GLUTEN FREE. For when water isn't hydrating enough due to an underlying medical condition Celiac disease. I hope this is OK to post. I can easily drink 1.5 gallons a day and gain no relief from horrible dehydration. I'll also share my water bottle soon as I can!

Is this community for Celiac disease?

Zero posts to know what is even happening here.

Who's the mod here? These post are very generic and won't help someone on a GF diet or new to one learn much of nothing.

Exactly as the title reads. All of these post for the most part seem ripped off the internet like some influencer. Nothing provided in these posts are really useful for people looking to join this community. Which is why it doesn't have good traction basically none for what it should be.

Where the actual daily use products at? Posts about how to adhere to the diet. FAQ for new GF individuals. List of good brands for items. Ect.

I could make 1 post of 50 items visible in one cabinet that would be more useful to newcomers or veterans of celiac or gluten sensitive people than all these posts combined. Than how to make the food based off these posts. I mean seriously. If someone new was going to make the food off these posts they'd likely get sick. Highly likely. Because they have no idea the process and how to read labels. Deal with cross contamination. I admire the effort. But the standards here a bare minimum. Which is very unfortunate because this could be a huge community.

Does this exist?? Messaging platform with a panic button from any member.

Basically I am looking for a messaging platform like signal or? but with anonymous signup, perfect forward secrecy, capable of video chat, sending photos the usual uses in today's life. But with a panic button. So that any party member could use said button to wipe all other members devices of any data instantly inside the messaging app. So if one member gets compromised, or lost their device, stolen device ect, any other member could wipe all chats, call log, and any other data strictly inside the messaging client instantly for everyone involved. Disolving the group like it never existed rendering the data unrecoverable. Amazons Wickr used to have most of these features but it is being discontinued December 2023 and who trusts amazon with their data. Does something like this exist? Sorry if I'm not explaining it well I'll do my best to clarify and update this post. I am not trying to delete the whole device. Just the data inside the messaging app. If that does not exist. What about a separate app that could delete the entire messaging platform from the device when triggered. Assume all necessary requirements are met and this is for daily use. Between a group of trusted parties.

Updated wording to clarify the objective as replies where getting misunderstood.
