Very normal
  • I think this comic might be suggesting that they’re leaving the planet since it’s all used up and the worker is sitting there with nothing left on the planet as the rich flys off to another planet? I don’t think it’s specifically angry at space flight.

  • I’d say it’s more than just a bother. You’re spot on about preventing them from carrying and transmitting disease.

Though I’m perfectly okay not having bot flies around anymore… Another insect that could be considered a bother but we mostly destroyed their population.

  • Got the notification on Saturday at 8:30 PM. Feels like a skummy way to try to have the change go unnoticed.

Took a few minutes to track down the setting but I’m sure that won’t undo the data they’ve already pulled and used without my permission.

  • I’ll have to figure that out when the time comes. Being able to map things and customize how the controls on your wheel would be nice. From my limited experience though, that’s not a feature I’ve seen.

I’m not against newer tech, just the fact it’s often so locked down and buggy.

Good point and thanks for the response too!

  • Dreading the day my car dies. I want more volume on my music? Turn a knob. Need to turn it off and focus? Slap that same knob. Weather got nice out and I want to let the air in? Spin another knob. Never have to take my eyes off the road.

Though my only experience with modern cars and their touchscreens has been 2-5 interactions to do any of the above. All on a touch screen so you have to look away from the road for it usually.

  • Pay to win games or games with heavy focus on in game purchases. Having an in game store to supplement development costs? Cool no problems. 5 interactions to get into a game but 1 interaction to purchase something? No thanks.

Not saying they can’t be fun. But not a practice I like to support if I can help it.
