Can't communicate with specific Lemmy instance
Hi there,
I am not able to lookup [email protected] from kbin.social. Lemmy.wtf have no issues federating with other Lemmy instances, but with kbin it just doesn't work. I've tried other Kbin instances. Same issue.

The only thing I can think of, that might be the issue, is that I am using Cloudflare Tunnel for lemmy.wtf. I read a similar issue on kbin.social also had something to do with Cloudflare?
I am guessing something specific is wrong at lemmy.wtf, but why is it only Kbin it has issues with? Any ideas?

Would it matter when you are trying to reach lemmy.wtf from kbin.social? The Cloudflare Challenge shouldn't do anything for outgoing from Kbin.social.
I use Cloudflare and Cloudflare Tunnel for lemmy.wtf as well, so maybe Cloudflare is blocking Kbin.social's request?
You are right. This confirms that something must be setup wrong on lemmy.wtf. Before I kept thinking that it might be because I am using a Cloudflare tunnel for lemmy.wtf...
edit: Does kbin.social keep timing out for anyone else right now?
As for @guildwars2, I don't think we're able to connect to them at all for some reason. I can't find them in the browser to subscribe to them, and their kbin page (https://kbin.social/m/[email protected]) is 404-ing meaning it was never even synced (nobody ever subscribed to it).
It seems that federation between Lemmy and Kbin is broken again. For some reason, it is still possible to connect to communities that was connected before federation broke, but not newer communities:

What about a community on Lemmy.world? That doesn’t seem to work either.
You are right. Now everything else works except for communities on Lemmy.wtf. I’ve checked the logs and I can’t see anything. Tried subscribing from here to Lemmy.wtf and from Lemmy.wtf to kbin.social, but I can’t subscribe. The weird thing is that I can see 3 other users on Lemmy.wtf is subscribed to here, so it did work at some point.
I see many people here have issues subscribing to [email protected]. I also get a 404 error when going to https://kbin.social/m/[email protected], but I also get the same error when going to https://kbin.social/m/[email protected].
Any community I try with on Lemmy.ml doesn’t work. Did federation break again? I am not able to subscribe to this community from Lemmy.wtf either.
