People who have had severe foot/ankle/leg injuries, what kind of shoes feel the best on you?
  • If your doctor and/or physical therapist don't have any recommendations, look for a running shoe store in your area. They can frequently help steer you to shoes that'll feel so much better. If you don't have one and still are looking for advice from random Internet people:

    • Nurses tend to like Hoka and Dansko.
    • For the severe tendonitis in my foot, I found Brooks to be really comfortable.
    • I also have some Chelsea boots from Lems Shoes. They're wider the regular shoes, but don't have much support. I replaced the insert with an orthotic recommended by my podiatrist and it works pretty well.
  • *Permanently Deleted*
  • I get all day usage, mostly playing podcasts to Bluetooth headphones for multiple hours, with a bit of light gaming (mostly a few idle clicker games). I might get a second day without charging but that'd be pushing my luck.

  • Why does my pixel 7's screen randomly turn green every so often? I checked settings and all of the colour options in display/accessibility are fine
  • I'm on my 2nd Pixel 7 Pro, as my first had this same issue. It started after a few months of using the phone. For me the green was initially only showing up near the volume buttons and a restart would frequently fix it. Then the green got worse and rebooting no longer fixed the problem. I spoke with support and they ended up RMA'ing the phone.

  • [RANT] I pay $70/mo for this privilege
  • No fiber available to my house, so I'm stuck with paying ~$85 for 50/2. Or switching ISPs and briefly getting a chair rate for faster speeds, but adding in a data cap and less reliability.
