Blackberry was huge in the teen age group in the UK at least. BBM being the big selling point.
Blackberry used to be all the rage with teenagers too.
Fortnite is still huge. The recent map update broke the concurrent user record and caused issues for some ISPs due to the amount of people downloading the update at the same time.
I enjoyed it for 3-5 minutes and then it crashed before hitting a save point.
It's a bit bonkers that the way the American system works can so easily result in a president who is a member of the other party.
I played WoW ALOT during vanilla, TBC, Wrath, and Cataclysm. The only way I would go back is if they bring it to Xbox and roll the sub in with GPU.
It's not miles better than the P6, but it does feel more consistent. Also face unlock makes it a mute point most of the time anyway.
Stroll to torpedo Verstappen at turn 1?
With McLaren, Red Bull, and Merc all saving their soft tires we really don't know anything going into quali. Exciting!
Ah I see, fair point
YouTube Music is included with YouTube Premium though so no need for Spotify if you have YTP.
I would put money on Danny Ric being in that seat next year. Worst case he is as washed as Perez but with a more marketable personality.
I've picked up Alan Wake Remastered for £8, so that gives me some time to decide.
Do I use my points on this or Alan Wake 2??? Such a tough call.
This makes me feel old because I think of the days when there was a chunky manual inside with controls, maps, and lore.
Imagine Qatar, but replace Russell with Leclerc and Hamilton with Perez.
I feel like this weekend was the final nail in Checo's coffin. I've felt for a while that we would see Danny Ric back in a Red Bull next year and now I am convinced.
I would love it to be Monster Hunter.
Max has had a stellar year that will absolutely go down as one of the most dominant of all time. But the points total doesn't mean all that much considering the number of races and the extra points from sprint weekends.
I don't think the criticism is uncalled-for. If people weren't also saying similar things about Perez and Sergeant you might have a point. Stroll has been awful this year.
Weekend Race Reports
Did you do a race this weekend? How did it go?
I ran the Wilne 10k. First proper run with my new Kinvara 14 shoes. Did it in 53:17, not amazing in the grand scheme of things but I was really happy with it. 55 minute pace for the first 5k and then a negative split for the second 5k 😁 Overtook loads of people in the final lap which always feels great.
What events have you got coming up?
Hi all, I thought it would be fun to talk about what running events people have coming up in the final months of the year.
I've got a local 10k race (Wilne 10K) coming up this Sunday. I've bought some new Kinvara 14 to race in, as I think my Triumph 20 are a bit heavy for a race day. I'm not fast but I do enjoy the occasional event. I did this run in 52:41 last year which I was really happy with. If I can be around that again I'll be chuffed, although I feel like I'm a bit slower than I was last year.
My other upcoming event is the Equinox 24 hour event around Belvoir Castle in the UK. It's a 10k lap relay event. Doing it with a buddy and I'm really looking forward to it. It's a beautiful course and the whole event has a great atmosphere. I did 4 laps last year, I'm hoping to slow down a little but do a couple more laps this year. The night time laps are the highlight, as I don't often run in the pitch black with a headtorch.
