The battle over Elon Musk's Tesla comp package heats up
  • Thanks, I checked with my brokers and apparently it's not customary to be able to participate in voting in US companies when I looked in their faq.

Did a quick search and apparently Mr Megalomaniac has threatened to sue alot of European broker firms if they don't look in to allowing it so they will according to news articles.

Sent their customer support each a question what the status was on the matter.

Will gladly buy stock just to vote No on the matter.

  • The battle over Elon Musk's Tesla comp package heats up
  • How practically does the voting take place and what's the conditions for being able to participate?

I know you need to be a shareholder but amounts of stock and/or do you need to be a shareholder for xyz amount of days prior and so on?

I would gladly buy stock and vote against it just because he needs to be taken off his high horses but I'm not familiar enough with US stock market procedures to know how it's being done and what rules apply.

  • Bitwarden has launched a new authenticator app
  • This is actually really good of them to realize that there is a market for another, separate, 2FA app to be honest. I don’t trust or like Google nor Microsoft. Authy is crap and going down the drain.

Using 2FAS now but not really feeling it.

If I could self host this and have redundancy/offsite backups I would probably move to this separate solution (Outside of regular Bitwarden).

Keeping the passwords and 2fa tokens in the same app is like writing the password on a post-it underneath the keyboard.

  • mine is waterproof too
  • Have you looked at the second hand market of used Rolex Watches vs First Generations of Smart Watches?

I'm not trying to put anyone down jut fact remains, you can flip the Rolex you buy on the second hand market and get money back after 10+ years.ä without any problems.

  • mine is waterproof too
  • But the one with the Rolex logo will most likely retain it's value over multiple years and might even increase.

Yours will probably be out of software updates and incompatible within a couple of years.

  • Good time
  • Or did you actually, out of "nessecity" and being cheap, really LISTEN to it and realized that it probably was good and not give up on it and jump to the next thing after 20 seconds as you do today?

  • Change log?

Is there a change log for Bose firmware anywhere? Couldn't find anything while searching

    ProtonVPN on MacOS

Is there anybody else experiencing that they are forced to relogin (enter credentials) for the ProtonVPN app on MacOS each time it has entered power save mode/been in standby?

    Extremely annoying.

Rewind video feed via Homekit integration?

Does anyone know if it's possible to rewind the video feed, that the Homekit integration provides, from a Apple device?

There is a "Live" marker but I havn't found a way to rewind and I am unsure if it's a integration issue, issue with my video feed or if homekit itself perhaps doesn't support it.

    Simulated regen

So snow has come and with that cold batteries and no regen.

So I finally came around and called "support" asking why I didn't see the option "Controls > Pedals & Steering > Apply Brakes When Regenerative Braking is Limited." that has been release for about a year.

    • Well, it's probably because older models doesn't support it.
    • Older models you say? It's not that old I would say, it's a Model 3, model year 2021.
    • Could I get your license plate number and check?
    • Sure, xyz123
    • Yeah, no some models aren't compatible with the feature.
    • Ok, sounds weird since it was just about a year old when the feature was release. But thanks anyway.
    • No worries, the feature could come in a update.
    • LONG PAUSE You said what?
    • It might come in a update.
    • You know you are contradicting yourself right now?
    • What?
    • If it could come in an update the car must be compatible, the cars hardware won't change. If this is the case you have purposely chosen not to develop the feature for all cars as of now.

Pretty tired of not being able to get answers to questions from "support" and Staff in general. Ok that not everybody is completely geeked out like forum members but there should seriously be a better tier available.

    Blocked communities showing up

I was under the impression that if I blocked a community I wouldn't see posts from it anymore.

Doesn't this apply to the "All” feed or have I misunderstood the "block" feature?

Because I still see these posts.

Home Assistant Yellow and USB Google Coral?

Has anyone had any success with this combo? I tried a couple of months ago and got nowhere, I honestly doubt it works.

There are some people claiming to have gotten it to work with either a externally powered USB hub and/or an extension cord (due to a theory that there is radio interference between the yellow and coral). I have not managed to come in contact with any of them, and the ones I have made contact with have rebutted the claim.

The M2 is a no go, I know that much but this is in regards to the USB version. "Home assistant"/Nabu Casa themselves have stated that it works (or should work) on at least two occasions (https://www.crowdsupply.com/nabu-casa/home-assistant-yellow/updates/thank-you-video-demo-and-google-coral , "However, if you still want to use the Coral accelerator, Home Assistant Yellow is compatible with the Coral USB accelerator stick, which requires a USB-C to USB Type A cable.")

    Thoughts and experiences around Suitsupply?

What is the experience of Suitsupply from people in here?

I'm attracted by the idea of being able to find clothes, especially pants, in a reoccurring model/style/size that fits me and being able to make changes in fabric and details to change things up.

Are they any good to deal with?
