The community can move elsewhere just like we did with Lemmy.
But we can't move the posts unless you save them.
Do we even need to stop using Twitter? If we don't take action against Musk, the platform will collapse and a lot of memorable tweets will be lost.
Stop using Twitter won't solve the problems we currently have on Twitter, such as more frequent downtime, false positives of rule violations leading to account suspensions, and most importantly, the disruptive changes Musk has forced, including the rebranding to X.
Resigning Musk from Twitter could be a chance to undo the mistakes Musk has made at Twitter. If you feel negative about these petitions to remove Musk from Twitter/X, you are half pro-Musk.
Also, stop thinking that change.org is spam.org, you should read this: https://www.change.org/impact
The petition is supposed to fix the dumpster fire. Also, I don't think Twitter is a dumpster fire before Elon's purchase...
A People's Twitter
Elon Musk, the richest man on Earth, just bought Twitter. He'll start making changes to the platform when the deal goes through -- as soon as next week -- and if we don’t ensure that all users are respected and heard, our public square is at risk.Let’s make sure Musk's Twitter serves the community t...
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has sued Elon Musk in an effort to compel the Twitter owner to testify regarding his purchase of the company.
You are still a boiling frog. If you continue to do nothing against Elon and be a boiling frog, you will regret it. That's why I post these petitions. Also, I don't think these petitions are useless.
I agree with this.
Absolutely not. Don't you know that the entire Twitter community is suffering from the "boiling frog" syndrome?
I think they are.
Elon musk Change Twitter to X I say Twitter is way better we have to get Twitter back.

Yet another petition against Twitter's name change, but it's poorly written with bad English.
I understand that was a sarcasm, but I'm still unhappy that Elon still owns the company and ruining Twitter while people trying hard to stop him.
To save Twitter from being destroyed by Elon Musk (we're serious).
No one is compelled to do a damn thing because people took 39 seconds to fill out a name on a website. Especially when those names aren’t checked against a census. Meaning, they can be easily faked.
Faking your name violates the site's community guidelines.
But he still owns it and has control over the company as chairman and has made many bad changes to Twitter. Maybe the petition should be repurposed to remove him from Twitter completely.
A petition to remove Elon from Twitter is not like that. It's an important petition to save the world's most useful social networking service. Also, you should stop thinking that Change.org is a bad website (while we see some stupid nonsense petitions).
And we have to stop him. We want to remove Elon from Twitter.
That's not a good option. It's too India-oriented.
That doesn't make sense.
But the company is still under EM's control. This sucks.
Don't be anti-Twitter! That's not what we intended.
It's not useless. You should read this: https://www.change.org/impact
No, we shouldn't be anti-Twitter because we're anti-Musk (and this petition too).
I don't think these anti-Musk petitions are for avoiding Mastodon; it could be done along with using Mastodon.
Pizza-biyori (Japanese mobile-only website by Pizza Hut; 2007)
Pizza-biyori (ピザびより) was the short-lived Japanese mobile-only website and Gijinka character series by Pizza Hut.
Pizza-biyori featured the Gijinka characters of Pizza Hut's pizzas of the time, and the website contained various content featuring the characters, mainly Yonkoma webcomics.
There were six characters in Pizza-biyori:
- Mayo-Q-tan (based on Mayo-Q)
- Mushroom-tan (based on Bacon Mushroom)
- Kani-Ebi-tan (based on Kani-Ebi (crab and shrimp))
- Bulgogi-tan (based on Bulgogi)
- Seafood-tan (based on Seafood)
- Deluxe-tan (based on Deluxe)
The site ran from July to September 2007 and was inaccessible from a PC. The Wayback Machine hasn't archived everything, and only a little information can be found in a Wikipedia article and a Nico Nico Pedia article.
Daniel Walterbury (YouTube channel, mid-late 2010s)
In the mid-to-late 2010s, a YouTube channel named Daniel Walterbury posted comedic bait-and-switch logo parodies claiming to be "high quality logo captures" in the same manner as SiIvaGunner, a comedic music collective known for "high quality rips" of video game music. After making several non-parody videos consisting of various TVCs and fictional television IDs (mostly FOX) around 2020, Daniel removed all of his videos from his channel. According to TheMossbergMan's comment on my "Where are they now?" post on Reddit, Daniel is currently contributing rips for SiIvaGunner. Currently there are only a few videos to be found, most of which are the parodies of the PBS and Viacom logos. Almost all of his Viacom parodies have been re-uploaded to the Internet Archive.
