There is definitely something satisfying about owning retro consoles and games. But it's hard and expensive to find them sometimes, so I've been going the emulator/ROM route lately. I've found SO many amazing games. I'm playing the old Monster Hunter PSP games right now. I even installed Mario 64 for nostalgia, and I'm actually shocked how advanced that game is for its time.

@kaupas24 I've found that the magazine search function in kbin works really well. It pulls up top kbin magazines by default. They seem to be sorted by user count. But if you type, say, 'technology', it will show all magazines/communities from kbin and Lemmy that are technology oriented. You can also type '@beehaw.org' to view all communities on the Beehaw instance.

@spicytuna62 my first (at 16) was a '96 Acura Integra, 5-speed, coupe. In black, so it was the temperature of lava in the Georgia heat. But god, I loved that car. It was zippy and drove like a dream. It was light enough that I could pull in my parents' driveway at 3am with the ignition (and consequently, the power steering) shut off so they wouldn't wake up. It fit 4 people, but usually only needed my seat and a seat for my CD catalog. I could drive it with my knees while eating Taco Bell on the way home from school. I traded it in for a 4-runner, and never felt the same love until I recently bought a MINI Cooper Clubman.
