Games where an emulated console version outclasses the PC port?
  • the only question I have is regarding how she chooses to groom her pubic hair. I believe I have been pondering this question since I was about 11 years old, and now, so close to the answer, Capcom is trying to harm me

  • 4 months until spooky season is in full swing!
  • if you start celebrating a holiday two months before the holiday, thats 2:12 months, or 1:6 months. This makes the holiday less unique than Wednesdays.

The beginning of October gives you an entire month of Halloween themed stuff.

  • MAGA panics before Donald Trump's first debate with Biden
  • i dunno dude, one time I got a gram of basement crank and was excited to try it, so I horked a rail right before band practice. our lead singer/guitarist was like "yo your drumming is so tight today, youre on fire!" and I was like "speed!"

  • What's the greatest invention of 21st century, in your opinion?
  • getting from my house to my office on my old road bike used to take 45 mins and I'd be sweaty when I got there, and the idea of 45 mins uphill after work used to make me wanna off myself. Since I got an e-assist its 25 mins and I'm like lah de dah meep meep

  • AI Novel & Story Maker
  • I'm not trying to be mean. I do have a very hard time understanding why anyone is working to make this happen. There are millions of truly great short stories and novels out there that communicate something imtimate and subtle about what it means to make a life worth living, or that might help us navigate tragedies in our lives, or what it means to establish a congruant narrative or even identity.

AI literature (and visual 'art'), to me, seems like putting all of that good stuff into a blender and making a pulp out of all of it, then chaining seemingly related bits together and spitting it out, kind of like calling ground beef a cow, or at least calling ground beef a T-bone steak.

I hope AI can help work out better antibiotics, or how to detect diseases much earlier (recent report shows parkinson's detection an average of 7 years earlier than otherwise using AI) and/or how the f to fix the climate crisis at a stretch. Using a ton of power derived from fossil fuels to shred a million books and stitch them back together into some analogue of an actual story .. I just can't understand why anyone would want that, and I've never heard anyone wish for it

  • And this is why I fear Cthulhu [Discussion]
  • yeah of course- I mean your experiences here are so different neurobiologically.. acid makes regions of your brain that normally dont communicate start sending signals to each other, wheras a serious dose of a dissasociative is going to be seriously dissasocative .. just radically differen't experiences. they used to call acid "instant zen"

for what its worth I understand what you mean. I had a friend who used to say that acid was like becoming a child neurologically again, suddenly able to reassess everything you've seen a million times

  • what you dont know could fill a book I wouldnt put succession on the same tier as sopranos (very little comes close), all I was saying is its not about crazy plot twists, and more about the way the emotionally crippled kids of logan roy cosplay as human beings. I enjoyed it- jeremy strong and brian cox did a great job imo

Bad Religion Launch Fall 2023 Tour at Ventura's Majestic Ventura Theatre (SHOW RECAP) - Glide Magazine

Last night (September 27), the iconic punks Bad Religion took over The Majestic Ventura Theater in Ventura, California for the first show of their fall tour. Originally announced in early August, the tour has Bad Religion bringing Speed of Light on a short string of shows that has the two bands on the road until the end of October. The tour follows a busy summer of festival appearances for Bad Religion with the band making appearances everywhere from Tokyo to Australia. With no festival restrictions, the band pieced together a career-spanning setlist for the first night of their fall tour in Ventura.

Bad Religion tore through classics and B-sides for a night that encompassed their storied career. The band kicked things off with “Epiphany” from their 2002 LP Process of Belief, the band also performed “Sorrow” from the LP. The main focus was on albums like Recipe For Hate and Suffer with four songs from each album taking up room in the setlist. The band performed tracks like “American Jesus” and “Skyscraper” from Recipe For Hate and pulled out “Best For You” and “Do What You Want” off of Suffer. The remainder of the tracklist saw the band sorting through their colorful discography, performing songs from classic albums like Noo Control and more recent releases like 2019’s Age of Unreason.

After a thunderous first show in sunny Ventura, Bad Religion is gearing up for one hell of an autumn. Their next two stops have the band staying in California, hitting Riverside and San Diego before heading up the coast to Eugene, Oregon. The band will be on the road until the end of October and hit cities like Denver, Minneapolis, and New Haven. Check out the full list of dates, setlist, and footage from last night’s show below. I'll build a ramp up to your ass... .... drive a Lionel up in there

This line and "make sure you clean that shit off her tit!!" from Sil when they cut back from the grandeur of Paris make me laugh each and every time.

Any lines anyone else can't stop finding funny?

    Adriana chose death over Artie

When Ade realized that Sil was coming not to take her to see her suicidal fiancée but to plug her spine full of automatic rounds, she could have called Artie and asked him to sweep her away to safety. She opted not to do this.

Artie could have taken her to some far flung locale and could have sold his restaurant through a broker from their new home. He would then be able to open a trattoria and she could wait tables. He loved her. He loves her still.

Ade knew all of this, and chose to get in the car, with one of Tony's enforcers, knowing on some level that Sil was going to ventilate her thoroughly. She though about fucking Artie Bucco, thought about getting pulled out of a car by her hair courtesy of Silvio Dante in the forest, and then hopped into that passenger seat. If he only Artie his hair, the woman would probably still be alive.

    U.S. Summer Tour Dates

    !

The band promises to play songs from their entire catalogue, but that: "you can expect a solid nod to Recipe For Hate, which hit its 30-year anniversary in 2023."

I told my wife I like shum pulp and she didn't get me

Wife and I currently have covid, which is pretty fucking awesome, so I asked her to get me some orange juice with the grocery delivery. She did, and it's smooth, and I said "I like schum pulp!!" as you do, and she said "please don't yell".

On one hand I'm dissapointed she didn't catch the reference since I know she's seen this scene before, but on the other, I appreciate that she had a very Carm reaction with "please, with the yelling"

bottom line: should I divorce her for not knowing the line or be happy that she acted like Carm and told me to calm down

Why don't you eat another donut you fat fart knocker?

Its a very good suggestion, AJ should go eat another donut. Or, perhaps he should take off that fucking shirt that looks more like a dress.
