And it's not even close
  • Just post some neat things about your hometown in your local sub and see if activities grow 😁

  • Did you know that if you press Alt+F4 you can take an in-game screenshot?
  • Another good tip: if your computer is getting hot, pour cold water over it to cool it down.

  • And it's not even close
  • And most importantly, I can read comments for news to get a read on other people's opinions, etc.

  • And it's not even close
  • For the smaller communities that came over, like my local city sub, I already like it more. I'm sure the toxicity will return, but for now it's very nice.

  • Scotiabank Centre faces fan backlash over Ticketmaster deal
  • I don't see how ticket master gets us bigger names than we already get. We could more more frequency in our bigger shows, but I think the problem is more population and location based. I don't think Ticket Atlantic was our limiting factor.

  • Scotiabank Centre faces fan backlash over Ticketmaster deal

I guess it was bound to happen. Hopefully this will be good for a smaller venues though, as people such as myself who do not want to associate with Ticketmaster will choose events at any other venue over the Scotiabank Center now.

Where to buy plexiglass in the Halifax area?
  • If you don't mind me asking, what was the pricing for the plexiglass like?

  • Ribfest was amazing!
  • I'm glad to hear that the event went well given the weather throughout the weekend!!

  • What are your favorite activities to do in the city?
  • I don't find that the downtown has a lot to offer anymore without constant spending. If I do go under the city I typically just like to roam the waterfront on a nice day.

Otherwise I find there are far more options for activities in areas like Bayer's lake or Dartmouth Crossing.

I haven't been for a while, but I used to love going to the Putting Edge (glow in the dark / black light Mini putt).

Another thing I find people getting into again is bowling. There are some good choices for bowling whether you're in the North end of Halifax or Lower Sackville. I'm sure there are others I just only know of those two locations off the top of my head.

  • What are your favorite activities to do in the city?
  • I exclusively visit the chain Lake drive location. I really like the size of it and the variety of routes.

Currently I am on a climbing hiatus though since I separated my shoulder.
