Didn't Know I Needed That: UI Mods
  • Hi @[email protected]!

    worried about the first one

I have not personally experienced issues with it. I have now had it a while and I have a huge load order. You can test it and uninstall if you suspect issues. There is an .ini file for configs. Looking at the comments, the MA has intensions to keep working on it.

SkyUI SE - Flashing Savegames Fix is a fantastic mod. Instead of using it, I instead use Dear Diary Dark Mode - SkyUI Menus Replacer SE. It contains the same functionality, gives a modern UI, and replaces many other mods. I almost included it in my list above, but it is already very popular.

Mods you didn't know you needed till you tried them. Here are some perhaps lesser known UI focused mods that are now must haves:

Pause After Load Unscripted - After loading a game or fast traveling, the screen just pauses until you click something. This is great when loading takes a while and you are looking away/doing something else. No ESP or scripts. SE/AE. Install/test/uninstall whenever.

Media Keys Fix SKSE - Finally a mod that lets you change volume inside the game without the problems of earlier attempts at this! No ESP. SE/AE. Install/test/uninstall whenever.

MainMenu Music Replacer - Wolf Princess (Adrian von Ziegler) (4K) - Celtic Theme - If you are new to the game, don't use this yet. But if you have heard the Skyrim intro many times, this is a breath of fresh air! Beautiful! Replaces the intro song and gives you a nice loading screen. No ESP. SE/AE. Install/test/uninstall whenever.

Now you, OG members! What do you think? What is your favorite lost UI mod? Let us know!
