Is there anyway to successfully appeal a permanent site wide ban?
  • I am really sad because I love Reddit and think it's a great and easy to use platform. The only issue in my opinion is the lack of free speech which produces the echo chamber effect. Furthermore banning you for live is a bit too harsh I think even when you really broke the rules. The current ban system does not count that people can change factor and provide second chances after an year or two..

  • My 6 years old account was banned recently too, for a comment that was considered a hate speech, however i dont even remember what exactly i wrote, as the comment was deleted by Reddit. I just know that I was very careful in my writings, so it came as a huge surprise. I guess our only chance is to wait for some future policy change or X like event where many accounts were given a second chance and the ban policy was loosen after Elon Musk bought twitter.
