At least 3,000 that died were on a feed lot. The short video I saw showed no trees or even bushes around and solid black angus cows that almost certainly were in over-crowded conditions standing in full sun all day. It pisses me off that the real scene of the crime(s) wasn't shown.

I've seen the same attitude from COnsevative Christians, though, as I have from some zealous covid-will-kill-us-all nuts: they both glady burn you at the stake for not living the way they want you to. I am an odd mix of being a capitalist (anti-fascims, though) and an environmentalist (naturally, that includes tree-hugging, veganism, and minimalism). Political discussion has its place, but in the wrong forums just makes some of us feel out of place.
Many of us fear feeling too deeply. I'd guess that is why so many of us escape into things that take us away from reality: soap operas/entertainment TV; drugs, alcohol, other addictions such as promiscuous sex that could hurt us, gambling, compulsive shopping that ruins our finances, etc. An online friend introduced me to vippassanna and sent me a wonderful poetic one-page article about it (lost it) and that helped a lot. Taoism and stoicism has similar teachings or thinking. It helps.
How to install new Debian with xfwm?
Do i simply install on top of a Debian server OS? Which .iso do I download/install?
I think even XFCE is rather bloated and have Debian XFCE on 2 other drives already, so will test out Debian stable nonfree with xfwm standalone. I have the names of the top 5 packages to add and will worry about the rest later. I am in no hurry to get this perfect yet. But, I would like to install the fundamentals tomorrow.
