I'm in agreement with everyone about the Corsair/Pirate job (though I think they'd lean Corsair for the name because of the negative connotation of Pirate, same reason we got Rogue and not Thief)

I've also seen some still that show some assets had been removed from the trailer, there's a shot where Meteor has an empty hand that looks like he has pistol.

Also come on, he just LOOKS like a pirate

Even a questline like the postmoogle quests could be cool

I have a similar opinion on ED. The thing that keeps it out of the "regret" category is VR. I truly have never had a cooler experience than flying around in VR with my HOTAS, it's truly the most immersive thing I've ever experienced.....for the small price of $500 if you don't have anything already lol

From what I've seen, they're probably focused on getting everything on Discord. Yesterday I remember seeing some pinned messages about channels to check out as replacements for the Daily Questions Megathread as well as the weekly rotating Megathreads.

Yeah I have this feeling that 7.0 will be the last with 2. On the plus side that would hopefully mean more time can be given to developing side content, or maybe they would just have them focus on job balancing/reworks.

I don't have much nostalgia for CRPGs of past, just because of my age. But I thought it was a really good, though it was shorter than other CRPGs I've played. It does have a level of replayability though, more than just trying out different classes, your choices really do matter.

I think it's pretty worth it for $7.50.

Don't think we've gotten any direct hints. The most we can go off of is looking at the Job list and extrapolating from there. For instance, there might be a caster since the last one was Red Mage on Stormblood.

To my knowledge, yes the Fan Fest are where they start to drop hints for the jobs.
