I was intimidated by formula C(#f3) in #iracing due to its longer race lengths. I'm more accustomed to shorter sprints. Huge fans of SF23 sprint format.
Finally did my first few F3 races at #vir and boy they're fun.
The first race wasn't super great, but my second race was fantastic. A midsplit race, ended up with p3. Was battling most of the race so I didn't even realize the length. Huge fan now.
Well the last race of the week at RedBull Ring didn't go that great. Started p12 and got a great start up to p6 by T1. 4 laps in got shunted from behind T2.

First race at Okayama I focused on SR and managed a 0x. Gave up a couple of positions due to aggressive passes and not wanting to fight them. Overall should be a fun week at Okayama \#iracing #simracing @iracing @simracing
@lhx that's absolutely possible, but not sure since after those two moments I was able to maintain for the remainder of the race. Though I do wish there was a way to maybe ask crew chief how tire usage is or something.

Well the #Zandvoort rescan in #iracing is absolutely a blast. I bought the W13 and Zandvoort last weekend and have been learning both. The W13 definitely takes a lot of getting used to. I'm definitely not driving it at its limits but Zandvoort is massively fun in it with the banked corners. Tonight I was finally able to finish a 12 lap AI race. Finishing 13th, 0x, and an AI spread of 7%-95%. It's interesting thinking of the strategies needed for longer races. @iracing @simracing #simracing
@BuddyTheBeefalo I don't even think the new apple VR is going to be capable of any kind of PC gaming. Unless I missed something last I heard there wasn't going to be any interfacing with desktops. Eventually. Probably still a few years out for what I'm really looking for. Even further for something affordable probably

Especially with the new #buttkicker But I can only wear the #oculusquest2 for so long before I'm fatigued. (I know some can wear them all day and you're lucky!) Been running #VIR all weekend with the #porsche #gt4 in #iRacing on triples. Hopped into VR and after a few laps I was already negative delta by nearly a second. 🤷♂️ @simracing @iracing
@BURN I've only been able to spend a bit of time with it but I really like it. I think it does add a lot to the feel that you normally wouldn't get from just the wheel.im still dialing in the settings but just sitting here feeling the LMP3 idle through my rig is really cool, let alone feeling when it starts to slip etc.
I'm lucky where my wife doesn't care about noise and my rig won't bother anyone where it's located. So I'm very fortunate there.

Well I was able to get in an official #f4 race in #iracing last night. Could have been better. Quali p4. Pushed up to p2. About 2 mins remaining, I guess I lost concentration or something because I could not find grip and fell back to p6 for the chequered flag. Onto the next one! @iracing @simracing

@ChoccyMilk that's an interesting take that I had not thought of. I always avoided longer races because it was more of a commitment, time-wise. Not that I didn't want to, but just seemed like more of a big deal. Maybe I should give longer format races a shot! I know iRacing does a nords eduros that is like 2 hour long races iirc.

@Vormuk so the issue is in some countries F1 TV is not available. People would then pay for the service and still have to use a VPN to access the service. Now this seems to be not an option? That's pretty shitty. They can play it off like they have no control all they like. This is a shit move for people who want access.
