More than 15% of teens say they’re on YouTube or TikTok ‘almost constantly’

And now she has a golden ticket to go on to sit on boards, be ceo of something, or just be a public speaker and get paid shit tonnes of money. The system is set up for Senators

Israel war: Israeli foreign minister says Gaza territory will shrink after war
  • A lot fewer, based on the attacks so far. While I'm sure lots of people would prefer Gaza to be pushed into the ocean, the end result will likely still be Palestinian but with a different government and decades of rebuilding. It sounds like Israel is mirroring the Iraq or Japan invasion method which means a tear down and rebuild of government that will need to keep promises about launching rockets and other attacks.

  • Israel war: Israeli foreign minister says Gaza territory will shrink after war
  • Duh. Israel is going to want to monitor the region for a long time to make sure Hamas isn't coming back. That's going to mean boots on the ground.

Other nations that want to stop this from being permanent will need to step up and volunteer their own soldiers to monitor the region because Israel won't give up the land without some strong promises that things won't slip

  • Are you prepared for the future?
  • Yeah, people growing up the 80's heard about nuclear war and ozone layer and acid rain and lots of other stuff. People freaked out then too and lived recklessly thinking the future was lost. But most people just lived their lives and didn't go live in a bunker. That's what's going to happen here.

Life just sort of happens, even when the doomer memes get upvoted to the front page

  • Births in China slide 10% to hit their lowest on record
  • Poverty has never been a major cause of low births. The poorest countries in the world have the highest birth rates. Instead it's about increasing women's health and education, giving them the choice to have fewer children or none. Turns out when they have the choice women don't want to get pregnant and raise kids at 20. They want to have careers and lives and travel and stuff.

Nations need to make child rearing more appealing for couples to want to be parents. Because a huge chunk of people could have salary raises and homes and be upper class and still now want to have kids.

  • Basically the plot of TNG
  • This assumes Q was there to actually judge humanity and not begin a dialogue with Picard and the Federation. In his own omnipotent way. It's not a judgement, it's more of a test or like a training.
