How do you manage songs?
  • I listen through Tidal, but buy from Bandcamp. Bandcamp have an Android app that lets you play your music from them, either via streaming or offline. It's not great but does the job. I also use Shuttle+ on my phone. On PC I use MusicBee.

  • Harder as in access to caves, or age related aches and pains?! Access to most caves in the UK is pretty straight forward if you are a member of a club. Many caves are protected and require permissions. The age related issues just keep getting worse each year 🙄

  • The broken knuckle was an unfortunate accident during a public show. The angle of the sword thrust happened to go up into my glove and popped a knuckle. The sword to the face was during training by someone who should have known better than to sneak a semi-sharp in. Still, scars to your face add character!

  • I used to do historical reenactment so would regularly fight with swords, spears, axes, knives etc. Great fun but the injuries start to really hurt over time. A broken knuckle and getting stabbed in the face with a semi-sharp sword that resulted in a hospital visit were my worst!

  • 3 days until reddit's 3rd party app shutdown, Lemmy users drive 985% surge with total 5.7 million comments this month
  • I'm done with Reddit. I can't support their behaviour so I'm moving on. I'm currently using Jerboa, and testing Liftoff and Thunder. All three are good, but Liftoff is my preference so far, just waiting for a few issues to be sorted which is happening over time. I'm interested to see what Sync does for Lemmy, as that was my go to Reddit app.

  • Saw this question over in r/Reddit: “If you could get one more season of a TV show, what show would it be?” | What show(s) would you choose?
  • I like both versions of Veronica. The high school version has the nerdy teenage charm, but the older Veronica is more gritty and flawed. I'd like to see where they could take a new darker season. I do wish that the series hadn't been axed after season 3 though. I've recently been watching The Good Place and Bell is excellent in that.

  • Subscribed/Top Day: no posts
  • I'm getting the same issue. If I select subscribed under everything, I get nothing, it's empty. Subscribed under my specific instance lemmy.world gives me posts from my subscriptions. I don't see a list of my subscribed communities unless I look in my profile (though that may be intentional for the app). I'm using the latest Android APK from GitHub.

I really like the app so far, great job Devs and thanks for your efforts.

  • Mystifier live - incredible!

I went to see the Brazilian black metal legends Mystifier play Bristol (UK) last night, and I have to say they were fucking awesome. The band were manning the merch stand so I got to chat with them whilst buying a t-shirt. Support came from local bands Blasfeme and Cryptworm, who both killed it.
