Wait, Threads is supposed to be a Fediverse thing? I'll admit, I kinda noped on it as soon as I heard Meta was behind it, but how does the Fediverse fit into all this?

Honestly, one of my favourite subs despite the very strict moderation (every post had to be manually approved) was r/tombstoning. Literally just images of newspaper articles where the headline and any related images/articles were very unfortunately placed. The mods basically ensured no reposts or posts that weren't quite correct got in - so the sub basically got a reputation of only having a post every other week or so, but when you saw a tombstoning post you'd know it was quality.

2012... that would have probably been around 1.1! There's a LOT more to the game since then, though admittedly there's also a lot that makes the game go faster too. It's still a fairly decent time investment, but honestly it's well worth it. (As an experienced player, a playthrough for me still takes about 50-70 hours)

Keep the Wiki handy, though.

It really depends how they're moderated. The Monster Hunter subreddit was mostly some fairly good discussion with the odd high-quality meme slipping through.

I stopped using the Terraria subreddit after they added a "memes on weekends" rule though, as it just bled into the other days and made the subreddit kinda unusable.
