Thoughts on the new spear skills and upcoming beta event
  • It's hard to know exactly how well the spears will perform before testing. They will no doubt adjust skills as needed. Can't speak on the gameplay since we haven't played with them yet.

The designs look cool, but like many streamers have mentioned, some of the ground effects could cause issues with enemy telegraphs.

  • Guild Wars 2: Janthir Wilds announced!
  • This is some good hype! I hope with their recent retrospective video they can craft a good story. If there are white mantle, I hope they aren't copy pasted from Bloodstone Fen or Lake Doric. Less bloodstone crazed and more cult-like worship from GW1.

  • Can I use the HDD from my laptop in a self-built PC?
  • Laptops use a 2.5 inch HDD, most desktop cases are designed to hold a 3.5 inch HDD. You may need a special bracket to hold the drive if the case you plan to use only has 3.5 inch bays.

Some modern cases do also include a 2.5 inch mounting spot due to SSDs using a 2.5 inch form factor.

  • How long would it take to beat the core game, just the pve side?
  • It's a little subjective. If you don't do any map completion, jumping puzzles, or events and just move from story mission to story mission, you can do it in a few days. Hardcore speed runners can probably do it in less. Story chapters unlock every 10 character levels, ensuring you're at max level when you get to the end of the core game.

There aren't many achievements tied to the core game story. Most of the PvE achievements are related to things in the open world until expansions where achievements also exist in story instances. I've played since beta and haven't completed all of them. Achievements like "Shield Master" just take so much time, because you have to get 5,000 killing blows with a shield.

    I hope this is informative.

  • Any tips for men attempting to hide nipple piercings?
  • I always had pretty perky nipples. When I got them pierced, they became dangerous! I was always weirdly self conscious of my pokies as a man and began wearing undershirts as padding to make it less noticeable. If it bothers you, wear something a bit thicker, maybe hangs a bit looser on your shoulders.

Or, embrace 'em and #FreeTheNipple. Everyone has a pair (more or less). Just roll with it.

  • Fort Worth Home to 2 of 10 Deadliest Texas Highways
  • I live off exit 445 Green Oaks/Little Road. Exit 449 is Cooper Street where UT Arlington and the Parks Mall of Arlington are. Exit 443 is Bowman Springs. This stretch of I-20 is basically all South Arlington.

    I am unfamiliar with 820.

  • How do you know when it's just a rough patch vs time to end a romantic relationship?
  • If there are irreconcilable differences that were established by healthy boundaries. Every couple has disagreements. Overstepping boundaries without resolving the issue will eventually lead to pretty negative feelings like resentment.

  • Why are folks so anti-capitalist?
  • As was already stated, capitalism is unsustainable. It seeks infinite growth in a world of finite resources. Capitalism will almost always place short term financial gain over long term issues.

There are only two financial classes. The owner class and the working class. It doesn't really matter if you make 30k a year or 300k a year. If you sell hours of your life for a salary, you are part of the working class. Capitalists make passive income off others labor. Being "pro-capitalism" is essentially saying that you're okay giving all but the littlest amount of value you produced to someone else. This is paraded as a good thing in the United States.
