Lizzie enjoying the sun.
  • Such comfy kitty

  • I call this a tube of cat
  • I yearn to squish cat

  • Furry baby.
  • Very furry baby!

  • Nami trying to catch some birds mid-flight... a few miles away
  • That photo and that cat are just perfect!

  • The internet is great again, thanks to all of you πŸ™‚
  • This is exactly how I felt on reddit! With Kbin I feel more at "home", with reddit I felt distant, the same with most other social media platforms. I feel like me and others feel less stressed when contributing to a discussion here compared to how I felt on reddit.

  • My wife and I just lost one of our precious boys and I wanted to share his cute little face with all of you in the hopes he can bring a smile to you like he did for us his whole life. Love you forever
  • I'm sorry for your loss! Just know you gave him a better life than anyone else could've.

Also, his adorableness made everyone smile :))

  • post vet
  • Dat little face, so adorable!

  • Washy says "meow" from Lemmy to Kbin!
  • I think I just found my new favorite magazine

  • Kbin.social passes 30k Monthly Active Users
  • I agree, right after getting used to swapping from reddit to kbin, it felt more like I was part of a community! I like to think reddit was a large city and kbin is a small village that is gradually growing.

I'm really glad I took the opportunity to swap from reddit to kbin, I already feel happier on the site and I haven't even been here for a week. I definitely feel like more people should swap which thankfully most likely will happen as reddit dies down.

  • YSK if you overwrote your comments and posts that Reddit is restoring them to previous states
  • I love how far people are going to screw over reddit, they made their bed, and now they have to sleep in it

  • 60% of subreddits are still dark! Reddit activity down 30%
  • I agree, it definitely was uncomfortable moving from reddit at first, but seeing how familiar the site was, and how much nicer the community is, it feels more like an upgrade than just swapping platforms.

Also, I didn't expect the protest would have so much of an impact, but I'm all for it!
