Men's Underwear: Recommendation?
  • Got myself some StepOne boxers, best undies I've ever owned no questions asked. Miles better than anything else I've worn, I'm incapable of going back to lesser pants now. They are made with bamboo fiber, have a low friction glide panel between your legs and have a pouch for the junk to sit in. They aren't cheap but worth every penny in my opinion.

  • Playstation Plus is just TOO expensive.
  • You can generally get a deal on the basic ps plus which gets you it for cheaper. They tend to be around Christmas and black Friday in the UK at least. That makes it about the price of one game per year for online which isn't too bad for my budget. I do agree that it's silly to play for access to our own internet but that's what the consoles all do now so unless everyone switches to pc we are stuck with it. I also tend strongly towards patient gaming so the monthly games are often ones I've been waiting to come up for cheap. Little nightmares 2 this month was the only one I was interested in but we've recently had Tunic which was excellent.

  • Anyone else feel like this is way too easy now?
  • Pretty sure the Devs have said it's a bit too easy now, remember the first game had 15 difficult settings. Personally I think it's a great step in the right direction to make more of the loadouts viable and make the game more fun, it's a power fantasy after all. It will mean that maybe some groups need to go up a difficult level or two and if you're already storming through on 10 you can try the less optimal builds out while your waiting for the next difficulty levels to come out.

  • In what videogame you're currently stuck and you gave up or drop it for a while?
  • There's a steam workshop mod which puts a checkpoint in all the temples, this let me beat it, the base game only that is, no challenge runs or secret bullshit, haven't even attempted that.

I do enjoy setting everything on fire and exploding myself though. I played a fair few hours on and off.

  • Once you've selected your target planet on the map (or select the planet by looking at it and pressing L3) you can then autopilot to the planet with up on the d-pad (tells you top left of the screen). Landing is a bit tricky but you can definitely just slam the ship into the ground, as the loops are short it's not the end of the world if it gets beat up. Pressing square or x to activate the landing camera can help too.

  • Just ran my first session of an OSR system and had a blast!
  • I really want to get my hands on Mothership, I watched the Quins quest review on it and was sold immediately. Trouble is shipping it to the UK is stupid expensive so I'm waiting for somewhere local to get stock. Glad to hear it's good fun to play. Did you run a pregen or make your own scenario?

  • Can someone give me advice on vacuum cleaners?
  • Third. Love my roomba, works well to keep the dog hair to a minimum. We've also got a Shark which is also great. Both were quite expensive but I'd say worth it. I love not having to hoover regularly but having the shark for spot jobs and upstairs now and then really helps too.

  • Hobbies Wednesday - what have you done this week?
  • I've been playing Rogue Trader, really enjoying it so far. I've also gotten myself a harmonica and started learning to play that, I'm still at the nursery rhymes stage but it's good to make music again.
