Reddit habit is hard to break.
  • I really like kagi and use the Orion browser. But after trialing a month’s subscription, I just couldn’t justify the additional cost. Their lowest tier just doesn’t have enough search’s for my monthly usage. It does put into perspective how many pointless searches one can do when searches are ‘free’. Each time one conducts a search, you are spinning up a machine somewhere in the world, multiply that by X and all that wasted resource becomes clear.

  • Cyberpunk’s expansion totally overhauls the original game | VGC
  • A quick perspective toggle would have been very cool, and would allow you to tackle situations (combat, infiltration etc) in a more tactical way. But given the issues they had at launch with the engine, I could only imagine how much of a challenge it would have been to stop the 3rd person camera from glitching through the environment. It's still a shame though as you can go 3rd person when on a bike.

  • Is Lemmy your first time on the Fediverse?
  • Yep, first time stepping into the fediverse, enjoying it so far but still trying to get my head around it. Also hoping that decent apps start to appear, which I would be willing to subscribe to if they had active development.

  • Is anyone else beginning to mourn reddit?
  • Going to miss Apollo ಥ_ಥ

  • Comfort games?
  • I want there to be a good and chilling sports game. Used to love playing FIFA then PES soccer, before all the micro transaction bullshit hit the fan. I’m curious about Super Mega Baseball 4.

  • What gaming moment made you genuinely smile?
  • I totally forgot about those moments! (⁀ᗢ⁀)

  • What gaming moment made you genuinely smile?
  • Metal Gear Solid PS1. Wipeout, also on the PS1, especially when the music kicked in.

  • Apollo for Reddit is shutting down
  • Going to miss using Apollo. Great design and Christian built it with the user experience first.
