I don't know what I'm doing but I'm here now...
The books have been in my "to read" list for so long now but I've never read past the first page...
"good enough" is how to describe it. For one one reason or another the devs seem unable to make any significant improvements and performance is a joke.
Another Squad Bug : Minimum Damage Bug
Squad is getting called out this week for many game breaking bugs. We all know it's a great game but unfortunately with many bugs and awful performance but this and others are horrendous programming.
PSO is one of my most memorable games for Dreamcast. Spending 1p a minute hooked up to the landline for play PSO (and use the chatrooms way too much) was totally worth it.

I didn't realise it was a failed Kickstarter. I bought it in early access so I guess they decided to risk it that way and it worked out in the end.
No not really but it's all subjective anyway.
I remember RAGE we good the first time I played but I really struggled with it last year when I tried it again. Also John Goodman voiced a character at the beginning and then buggers off never to be seen again...
There are so many reasons why it failed but we all love it so.
This War of Mine: Complete Edition £26.93 £3.91 (85% off)
In my opinion one of the greatest games but also one of the saddest. If you already own the game then I highly recommend all the DLC as they all bring some interesting scenarios to the game.
GRIP: Combat Racing £24.99 £2.49 (90% off)
Spiritual successor to Rollcage with a great soundtrack.
There were some bizarre ads from around the late 90s to early 00s.
The Dreamcast Barber comes to mind.
Psychonauts 2 is amazing. I had a really good time playing it and my kids were completely engrossed in it by my side.
To me it feels like a big drop in activity on Lemmy over the past 6 months? So the weekly and monthly post are being forgotten and some are letting standards slip.
The HDD in my Xbox One S was starting to die so I decided to swap it for an SSD. Surprisingly easy to do with just a torx screwdriver and a spudger. So now I'm starting Red Dead Redemption again as I got so close to completion but didn't quite finish the story.
Having all your games lined up nicely only to notice the 20 different shades of blue...
Having breakfast made for me and then just to chill with all 4 of us together watching a movie or something.
Also I'm the go to parent whenever kids want anything or argue over something so not being that for a day k thanks...
Old School Rally
Heavily inspired by Colin McRae Rally on the PS1 and it looks the part but the car handling really lets in down. Unresponsive at stirred, brakes are too sticky and pace notes are called to late and not together.
Parking Garage Rally Circuit
Fun little circuit time trial mode in the demo with arcade controls (hold X to drift and earn boost like Mario Kart). Kind of game where you will spend time perfecting your run to try and save milliseconds. It has the visuals of a Sega Saturn/Arcade game which is cool.
N64 is one of my favourites but also the hardest to go back to after all these years.
Never heard of BAR before so thanks for this. Looks amazing and can't wait to try.
I have barely any subscriptions for anything anymore and once Gamepass expires (I did the £1 upgrade offer) I will not renew.
I just chop and change to whatever I want for the month but overall I don't really use many paid services anymore.
Even though I grew up with 8/16bit I've never really had any nostalgia for it apart from a select few games.
The Rest is Entertainment Podcast
The Rest Is Entertainment pulls back the curtain on television, movies, journalism and more with Richard Osman and Marina Hyde using their years of knowledge, enviable contact book and wit to bring you what’s hot, and what’s not in the world of entertainment.

Just a recommendation for television, film and more in a podcast.
It's becoming one of my favourites to listen to and the Q&A episodes are very interesting.
It is also on YouTube but I prefer the audio form.

I must admit that I have hardly played any indie games on the DC but there have been huge improvements since the last vote in 2016.

Some huge changes for this year so I'm getting excited!
What is the current "best value" GPU
Is there such a card?
I've owned my XFX RX 6600 for about 2 years now and it's a great card but making the step to 1440p has limits. In my opinion PC gaming is in an almost ridiculous place ATM with prices and marketing so...
Also thanks for any help and please explain why you suggest a certain GPU. New or used doesn't matter.
Amazing amount of effort put in to the article.

F355 Challenge Network Race Functionality Restored!
Well this one came out of the blue! The “Network Race” functionality for F355 Challenge has been restored thanks to flyinghead. A very nice surprise for sure! So, you might notice I’m not using the words here “online multiplayer” and there’s a good reason for that. F355 Challenge doesn’t feature tru...
