Yeah replaying all the RE now and it's crazy how this very early choice of two playable characters in the original series allowed the remasters to feel much more modern in their writing. Jill feels like the modern badass main woman a lot of game which they could write properly.

Interesting different interpretation of Peace as peace during a time of war, you get +1 originality point for it. Also reminded me of this:

Really love this one, the bird eye lens really makes the juxtaposition between the two parts of the pic really work. And thanks for sharing workflow! Congrats on 2nd place!

Congratulations for first place! Love how the talons hold the gun. Your turn to pick next week's theme! I was wondering also if we should add +1 point for sharing workflow from now on, it could be a good way to encourage sharing, depends what @[email protected] thinks
Thanks! I discovered these with last weeks so I figured I'd link the previous cause I myself was curious what the past entries were :p
ahah thanks! Here we go then https://lemmy.blahaj.zone/post/3622890
"War and Peace"
Continuing the community challenges from @[email protected] and following invitation from @[email protected] in the latest challenge, I’m opening this week’s challenge.
Theme
This week let's play with opposites, and the theme is going to be "War and Peace". It'll be up to you which degree of which you represent or if you focus on the contrast between both. I think there's a lot of interesting things to do here.

Love the idea of the challenges, thanks!

Doesn't Python 3 have types? I've seen a few well typed codebases and it really made the code much easier to understand. Or is it just that it's not checking them strongly enough?
I read "as nation turns gay" but somehow it still made sense like yeah they're old they don't give a fuck anymore they all come out and be gay together
Those look good but I have to say I've been spoiled by Resident Evil's remasters, the comparison is a bit painful in terms of effort. But I guess there's only so much you can do with the Switch's hardware, it's not like it's that more powerful than a Playstation 1 ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Love that they have a whole ass domesticated whale to move them but there's still one fucker at the back that needs to paddle like a chump :D
That was my immediate thought, it's space exploration, it's meant to cost more than is reasonable or affordable, because monetary rationale has never been a factor in it. Even if it did pay out in the long run with inventions and discoveries in the past, it's never going to make budget sense because exploration and pushing our specie's boundaries shouldn't be. It's a miracle what space agencies are/were able to accomplish with super strict budgets in the past, but in the end there's only so much you can do by cutting corners and letting the private sector fill the gaps
The fact that you can play it with all the infinite goodness from the Workshop is a really strong selling point because it's thus the only mobile version of Isaac that is actually up to date + modded compared to mobile/console versions.
This is actually quite a poetic picture I like it
Yes some of these definitely aren't masks but I was surprised that a lot of them were at least, or at least you see the eye's slits clearly. But yeah it's a super fun rabbit hole to dig in, because masks are smack in the middle of "uncanny valley makes the subject better <-> worst" so a lot of the time all the imperfections or nonsense of AI imagery just makes them work even better as masks.
He's also the piece of shit behind Jeepers Creepers which is why despite them being okay horror movies nobody brings them up anymore
Thanks! I was originally aiming for something more grotesque like Goosebump's haunted mask but then ended up in 13 ghosts-ish territory and I couldn't leave :D
Melted wall
Not sure if this fits since technically the wall (and likely the fire) were man-made, but it's nature and chemistry that mutated the wall in this pattern. Will remove if not

This is actually a variation of a dezoom so it lost a bit the original prompt but it was just acid blood --weird 1000

Quite like how it came out as some kind of portraits of a family over the generations but where they all shared the same personality
