Does anyone else think that WA/Perth should put their hand up to take this on?
I think it would be fantastic for the state, and we have the money (at least more than Victoria 😁), and given the short notice it wouldn't look that bad if we didn't have the perfect venues etc.
I feel like if McGowan was still in he would jump on this! I think I heard Roger has already vetoed it though...
I use NAB and I'm not even sure it has 2FA of any kind? Maybe I just haven't looked lately...but they definately haven't pushed it on me.

Navigation Question
Hey people! I have just started using Lemmy and have have got a basic feel for how it works ok. The one thing that confuses me is the navigation using the exclamation mark, like '[email protected]'
All the help blogs say go to search in your home instance and type [email protected]', but why would I do that. If I know the name of the community I want why not just go to the address bar of my home instance and add '/c/[email protected]'.
Isn't that easier, with less steps? Can someone explain the benefit of the '!' addressing.
