If you are on a newer version try disabling 2fa? That should tell you if it's the cause. I saw another post suggesting Jerboa doesn't have the flow yet to put in the 2fa code but I don't know which version if the app they were on.
My guess would be because it is more difficult for other instances to deal with instances that have a combination of bots and actual users.

Glass is the complete wrong way to hold water. The standard practice is to use the colander as it allows the water out and to the users. You should never use glass as it restricts waters flow to one method.
