Personalized Bibata Cursors for Linux and Windows

Link: https://www.bibata.live

Repository: https://www.github.com/ful1e5/bibata

I'm the author of Bibata Cursor, dedicated to cursor development since my engineering student days. My passion for open-source tools has led me to enhance unixporn setups with custom cursors.

After 7 years of development, I've received numerous requests for custom Bibata colors. To meet this demand, I've been working on a project for the past 3 months. Today, I'm thrilled to announce the public alpha release. Join in, test it, and share your feedback.

Important: Public downloads are currently limited and tied to GitHub Sponsorships. Check out the details at bibata#why-a-download-limit. Please note that heavy traffic might briefly disrupt the website due to hosting on Vercel's free tier.

On another front, I'm not currently streaming on Twitch due to my computer's limitations. Your sponsorship not only fuels ongoing development and covers database, services, and domain bills but also contributes to acquiring a new computer and equipment. This enables me to create content on Twitch and YouTube, supporting my other open-source projects and the projekt0n startup.

If you find value in this project and others I maintain on GitHub, consider sponsoring me with a one-time or monthly contribution. Your support is genuinely appreciated and comes with various benefits detailed on the GitHub Sponsor Page.

For any issues or feature requests, create an issue on GitHub.

Quick update on my open-source projects: I've been busy with exciting ventures like bibata.live, aiming to turning this project into a user-friendly web application, without archiving this repo. Your support of just $1 or more on Github Sponsor can speed up development. Plus, I'm live on twitch.tv/ful1e5 for feedback. Join me in making open-source magic!

Thank you for being part of this adventure.

"Kohi" VS Code Theme

I spend a great deal of my professional and personal life hacking away in VS Code, and I finally decided a few months ago to create a theme that appealed to me and matched the rest of my environment.

I just tagged and released my 1.3.0 update, which drills a little further into the color scheme, to achieve cohesive caffeine nirvana.

convertablet: a 2-in-1 support daemon for wayland/wlroots compositors

I'm working on a daemon & collection of other tools and configs to bring better support for 2-in-1 convertible tablets/laptops to Wayland/wlroots compositors!

This is a preview of how it works on my Lenovo Miix 320-10icr, though I want to extend support to as many devices as possible in the future!

code

Right now the only other supported device is the Google Caroline (“Samsung Chromebook Pro”) though I'm looking to support as many devices as possible! Right now, I'm working on better hardware detection to make it work out of the box on more devices. If you have one of such devices, feel free to get in touch, my contact info is on my website: yukijoou.kemonomimi.gay, I'd be more than happy to help you make your device work with this tool!

Notable features right now:

  • Working screen rotation using iio sensors
  • Keyboard/basestation detection using libusb and specific pid/vids
  • Hooks that run on docking/undocking, so you can write your own shell scripts to do fancy things
  • A fcitx add-on that adds hooks on input field focus/unfocus to bring full on-screen keyboard support with IME to Wayland (probably the most useful part of this project, may be nice to have on Linux mobile distros if you're into that sorta things!)

Graveyard — Dead simple encryption

After discovering Tomb, and a few personal issues with it, I decided to write a very similar program that doesn't require root access and compiles to a single binary: Graveyard.

Additional information and source code: GitHub.

Also, sorry about the ugly terminal colors, I recently just switched to Artix and haven't gotten around to making everything look amazing.

Edit: Cleaned up some stuff

GitHub Themes for Terminals, Shells, and Beyond!

In this project, I utilized Github's primer palettes, a design system, to craft various themes. These themes have dynamic capabilities through templates, ensuring they remain up-to-date with Github's latest changes.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined me live on twitch.tv/ful1e5 and provided support. If you appreciate my work, you can become a sponsor and contribute to my sponsorship goals.

Your support is invaluable in sustaining this endeavor, and I sincerely appreciate your thoughtful consideration.

Additionally, I've also developed a GitHub theme for Neovim, available here: projekt0n/github-nvim-theme.

cue v1.0 released: type what you want to hear

Hi, I'm the author of cue, a music player for the terminal that let's you type what you want to hear, using partial song titles. You can type in the partial names of artists, albums, playlists or individual songs. Good for instance for when you are using the terminal and want to take a break and quickly launch music.

cue features cover art displayed in the terminal, automatic playlist creation, gapless playback and 24bit/192khz audio support.

Some usage examples:

cue nirv - plays all songs in the "nirvana" folder, shuffled (If it's in your music library on your harddrive).

cue neverm - plays nevermind album, in order (If a folder has no sub-folders it assumes it's an album and things are played in order).

cue shuffle nevermind - plays nevermind album, shuffled.

cue - starting cue with no arguments plays all your songs (up to 20 000), shuffled.

cue artistA:artistB:artistC plays all three artists, shuffled (this is based on directory names, and only works if you have a folder with the artist's name). You can do the same thing with songs or albums.

Left and Right arrow switches songs, F1 toggles playlist info and pressing Q quits.

Press B to switch to displaying album covers as ASCII art.

Press V for a spectrum visualizer.
