Looks like every post from Reddit images and redgif are broken and don’t load any more

I’m using the iPad app in my Vision Pro and I can log in, but all the feeds just error out

I switched over to the app last night and noticed that my subscription list is empty. The Home screen shows my subscription posts correctly but the actual list of them is never populated even after force closing the app and reopening.

When trying to add a new guest instance it opens the window to type it and it quickly disappears.

On a side note, what’s going on with the development? It’s the longest we’ve had without a new update and (at least for me) Avelon has become a little laggy, not to mention 0.19 is just a few days away.

I’ve noticed this bug for sometime. While scrolling sometimes the context menu registers a touch and opens when not intended.

In a community feed, nbsp characters are escaped instead of rendered.

I was using the link button to share a link but I like being able to select the word I want to link, click the link button and paste, and have the word I selected in brackets and linked. Right now when I select the word and add the link, it pastes the link after the selected word with blank brackets. So I ended up just manually typing out the bracket and parentheses format, but then the font got quite weird. 😬

After pull and refresh community title, bottom part (bar with icon - score, post count, etc) will place very close to border of this region

It’s impossible to read the first word or two. Also makes it impossible to paste text into a reply. Happens when you post as well. iPhone 13 Pro.

Still trying to figure out reproduction steps, but it happens frequently.

I get a push notification for a new comment reply (from another lemmy app) while browsing inside of Avelon. I click inbox and see no new reply.

I go to pull to refresh, but it won’t refresh, no icon or anything. Just scrolls.

Workaround: I switch from all inbox to unread and then I can see the new reply.

Edit (via bean): Seems that all pages, inbox all, inbox unread, and the post view will only refresh once per load. And have to be navigated away from before they can be refreshed again.

I’ve been very confused as to where my list of subscribed communities is, when I discovered that they’re not displaying where they’re supposed to be. Perhaps it’s an issue with my instance (midwest.social)? I only see the 4 sections at the top: nothing underneath. I’m currently running TestFlight version 1.0.6.

Opening a user’s profile in the comment section causes the jump button to stop working. There’s no problem if you’re at the top of a comment tree, and the only way to fix is to scroll up. It’s a pretty minor bug I thought I should point it out.

As you can see in the above screenshot, the communities on the left hand side like lemmyworld, technology, and microblogmemes all have different font sizes. This is very jarring and needs correcting, plus it’s much harder to read small fonts when it’s all squeezed in there.

One solution could be to put the communities name on the line above the post title or perhaps put it below the upvote/down vote line so it has more space. Please hope you can fix this, as it makes readability difficult, thank you.
