  • Has anyone actually gotten into this? I played one match and it was alright but nothing to really write home about. Aesthetic was cool as fuck though.

    • I'm playing a lot of it. The focus on objective based gameplay, with a higher TTK and destructible environments makes this game unique and a true spiritual successor to Battlefield Bad Company 2 (IMO)

Being able to deform the environment to make new routes, flank, or even move the objectives are new things that allow for player creativity and freedom that doesn't exist in other FPS at the moment.

If you played at launch I would suggest at least hopping in now for a few more and play some different classes. Players have somewhat figured out how to play this compared to at launch day. Also, don't just play Bank It, play Quick Cash as that is the main mode. Bank it is for people who like TDM and it doesn't sell why the game is unique because it doesn't promote destruction or team play.

      • I may very well have to then. I did try it upon launch. Like... the day after the game awards. When they announced it I was surprised and immediately started the download. Played a few games in the next day or two and then meh. But I also don't have friends to play with. Most of my friends play single player games or drastically different games and playing team based games on your own, or at least with randoms, usually ends up being a nightmarish experience.

    • I've been really into it this past week. It's just absolutely high action chaos! I think I've just wanted a good Arena shooter in my life for a while, and this is filling that void for me. When you start leaning into all of the destruction possible in it, it can really create some engaging encounters!
