When RIF finally stopped working for me, it was giving error 429, which is
Too Many Requests. I expect you're getting lucky with whatever rate limiting scheme was implemented on reddit's server side.No rate limit if you log out.
Been using that to lurk the worldnews mega threads.
I deleted the app, nothing for me there. Not planning to replace it with a lemmy app either, spent too much of the past ten years on reddit.
Same with Boost. I don't think it will last long.
I'm wondering the same thing except I use baconreader. Idk what's going on but I can totally load posts and comments and they're not old data or anything. Anyone else?
