A video review of an alternative system to succeed 5e.
The primary advantage to 5e is that everyone knows it and you can always get players. Getting a table convinced to play an alternate system is always hard. But it's fun to explore those alternates nevertheless
I know it's the video title for clickbait but I'm not a fan of the language Treantmonk uses here by calling it 6e.
The best thing about the RPG scene right now is the fact that so many companies are splitting from WotC's 5e content to make their own successors with a general common view of 'only pick this if you prefer the changes' and nobody is trying to take the stance of The successor to 5e, which is nicely respectful to eachother.
I particularly like the action economy, and mana rather than spell slots. I was homebrewing something that looked quite similar, and I'm not sure that I'll continue now that I know this exists :)
