Why would I want my tea to taste like toast and jam?
Ok ngl I have tried the biscuit one. It smells amazing, so realistically biscuitty, but the taste is...questionable.
So if you're more into sniffing your drinks these could actually be a good shout.

8 0 ReplyIt was right in front of me!

I saw the biscuit one at my local supermarket, and was *very *close to a purchase. Now I'm even more curious what these will smell and taste like! ☕
2 0 ReplySmell = good. Taste = uncomfortable and confusing.

Goes well with tea flavoured jam:
11 0 ReplyIt actually exists! I thought @SnowWomble was joking!
3 0 ReplyOh, ha ha, I didn't even see that comment

No idea. Like Huel: get all the nutrients you need without any of the joy of eating.
8 0 ReplyMy wife bought both months ago when they first came out. I'm a coffee drinker but I was like "really?" but she was quite excited.
Well she tried both of them. Once. They're still in the cupboard, so they must be "wrong."
5 0 ReplyThe toast & jam package design made me laugh, because it looks like the tea is being poured directly into the toaster. Do not try that at home!
4 0 ReplyA very British way to go

Plus, why can't I remember to take pictures landscape for Lemmy?
4 0 ReplyI once made the mistake of shouting "Landscape!" at my Wife when she was trying to take a picture of myself and my friends. Now whenever a picture is taken in my presence someone shouts" Landscape!" at me.
I wouldn't mind, but I was right and she was wrong, but I get ridiculed for it.
3 0 ReplyI just had this same issue - I found that if I opened the image in Photoshop (or similar, eg Photopea) and saved again without changes, a portrait photo works fine. Not sure why that would be though!
2 0 ReplyOoh, good tip thanks

Just in case you have tea flavoured toast & jam?
4 0 ReplyYes! The fight back begins. Tea flavoured jam and jam flavoured tea. What a world that would be.
For some reason I'm thinking about Moss from the IT Crowd shaking his head about this one.
5 0 ReplyI'm almost having a little heart attack, the IT Crowd has also now been mentioned so it's almost like Reddit didn't have to exist!

@TIN the craft tea movement is upon us. Can't wait for the sours.
3 0 ReplyCold brew tea, is that a thing? I only want it if it costs a fiver per cup and is served by someone impossibly attractive.

My partner says the biscuit one isn’t too bad, he compared it loosely to Assam.
3 0 ReplyI actually really like the toast and jam one haha, Yorkshire Gold will still be my go-to though
2 0 ReplyMy wife has these both on subscription as her main brew. I'll admit the biscuit one is nice every now and then. I'll stick with Earl Grey though hah.
2 0 ReplyGoodness!.... how high is your bar set for divorce?

Unsure about the toast and jam one, but biscuit brew is quite nice. 👍
2 0 ReplySome people just want to watch the world burn, like the toast.
2 0 ReplyNext thing they'll be putting coffee in teabags and calling it a cappuccino.
1 0 ReplyActually have seen coffee in a tea bag in the supermarket quite recently.
2 0 ReplyThose bastards! 🤣

No matter what it is, if it can be put in a tea bag, it will be.
2 0 ReplyNot going to lie, I might try an egg and cress cuppa just for a lark.

I didn't mind the biscuit one but the sweetness got to me in the end. The jam one I had one try of and then left the rest in the work canteen wijth a note on saying "please help yourselves".
Back to drinking Barrys constantly again.
