105 1 ReplyThat is crazy considering this is a web app! Never had such a smooth experience with webapps on iOS before Whish radarr and sonarr would be that smooth, lol
37 0 ReplyIt might be the best PWA I’ve ever used. It’s incredible. And so close to feature parity with Apollo this early. I’m blown away.
I use LunaSea for sonarr and radarr on iOS. Worth trying if you haven’t already.
31 0 ReplyI never was a fan of web apps, but this one is outstanding.
21 0 ReplyI think it is crazier that according to commit history it's only been being produced in about a weeks time. It is the best PWA I have ever seen in quality.
10 0 ReplyYeah even though I want it to be native it is still pretty darn fast.

It’s exactly like Apollo. I’m in love.
24 0 ReplyIt feels so nice, even on Android.
9 0 ReplyIf only it was native.
3 0 ReplyIt even work on ipad!

15 0 ReplyThe best one.
14 0 Replyreally impressive for a pwa
10 0 ReplyWefwef is great except for the fact that it only works about 20% of the time for me
11 3 ReplyFor what it’s worth, they just did a patch (within the last hour) and it should now stop dropping all the time. The dev worked with the lemmy.world guy(s) and figured it out.
16 0 ReplyI tried to upvote this, but wefwef lost connection and wouldn't let me.
6 1 ReplySame here… really annoying since it is my go-to app

Wefwef.app - a browser-based web app with an Apollo look and feel. I found it yesterday and it’s instantly my fav.
74 0 ReplyThere’s a post about it this just posted too. Worth checking out the comments. One of the devs has responded to the community

wefwef.app
45 0 ReplyWhat I’m using at the moment. Loving it coming from Apollo. Feels exactly the same.
10 0 ReplyWefwef is great! Only thing I’m missing is a sort of compact mode on posts. Other than that it’s perfect.
8 1 ReplyThe dev just added compact mode like hours ago! Go check for updates and it will be in your settings.
Here is the post confirming it: https://lemmy.world/post/863116

Yes. Wefwef

28 1 ReplyWefwef. Surprisingly good for a web app.
24 0 ReplyWefwef is missing
20 0 ReplyReally hoping we get an official Apollo client for Lemmy! (Granted the current clones aren't bad, but I'm a fan of the OG)
18 0 ReplyI agree. I really hope Christian is still into developing for a platform that is similar.

Which one is the best?
7 0 ReplyI prefer Memmy the most because it’s the most feature complete. But WefWef is also really nice and I use that sometimes too.
18 0 ReplyA week or so ago I would have said Thunder but I’m writing this from Memmy since it seems to have really tightened up in just the last couple of weeks.
Thunder is still great, but performance isn’t amazing on my iPhone 11 Pro.
All of them are incredible compared to where they were just a few weeks ago though!
3 0 ReplyYou should try all of them, if possible. Then turn your focus on the one app that you like the most, and give feedback.
They are all great apps in their own ways.

Liftoff! is love, Liftoff! is life.
5 0 ReplyI want to love it but honestly it’s probably my least favourite of all of them right now. Then UI feels pretty unpolished and I’m not a fan of the rounded corners on everything 🫤
9 0 ReplyThey grow on you :-)

Out of interest, does anyone know how close any of them are to be freely available on the App Store for iOS?
I'm currently using wefwef and it's really good, but I think I might still enjoy a native app nonetheless.
5 0 ReplyMemmy has been submitted for App review, so that might be the first app to hit the store

I haven’t heard of Liftoff or Thunder. I’ve got wefwef, Memmy and I’m just now trying Mlem for the first time. I haven’t found a perfect one so far, but as an Apollo refugee, wefwef is nice
5 0 ReplyLemon but it isn’t out yet, see https://lemm.ee/post/116554
4 0 Replycan you point me to the test flight for thunder and liftoff?
4 0 Replywefwef
3 0 ReplyDo we know how safe these all are to use?
3 0 ReplyCan't speak for all of them but Memmy and wefwef are open source. So if you know how to build or review code, you can go ahead and do so.
I personally compiled my own wefwef and I'm currently hosting it (mostly because wefwef.app keeps getting rate limited)
2 0 ReplyYeah, I’m reluctant to start installing random apps. Perhaps I’m being a bit too cautious

You can also add the web app
3 0 Reply+1 for this, I am using kbin's web app as well both work great!
