The video showed two hostages being brought into the hospital, Gaza's largest and most modern. [...] One of the hostages appears to be resisting
The article doesn't say how the hostage was killed. They're trying to make it sound like cold-blooded murder - and to be fair, it might have been. It could also have been that the hostage attacked the soldiers and they defended themselves. It seems like every 'news' release I see from the Israelis comes with lots of implications and loaded words, but also has huge gaps in the actual facts provided.
With all the surveillance tech they claim to have and their top level intelligence, the details they share are always grainy and subpar at best. It's hard to trust anything that comes from IDF, since their words and actions never match.
"The hostage attacked the soldiers and they defended themselfs."
Wow. Just. Wow.
Poor Hamas terrorists. Gotta stay vigilant against them dangerous heavily armed lethal hostages you have taken. Sometimes there is just nothing you can do but kill a hostage you have taken in self defense.
Pathetic. Gtfo.
There's no way they intended to kill him if true at all. These hostages are worth 100 times more to them alive than dead.
Hamas doesn't care about their civilians who are dropping dead by the hundrends everyday and rather care about keeping these hostages alive to achieve their demands.
Also most of the hostages were killed by IDF strikes and in every time that happened Hamas releases videos and statements asking Israel to stop killing their hostages and start trading them.
