15 0 ReplyCelebrity flag waver standing there looks like he's being forced to go wave that flag by his mom.
14 0 ReplyTHERE IS NO FUCKING WAY! ABSOLUTE MADMAN
13 0 ReplyCheco makes the same mistake twice.
4 0 ReplyAbsolutely. Why did he leave the door wide open, IN THE LAST LAP?!
3 0 Reply
"no team orders" "hold position" ๐
10 0 ReplyAlpine is being weird with two drivers willing to fight eachother is entertainment.
4 0 Reply
Yeah the fight for the 2nd is cool and all but..
DANNY GET ZHOU COMEON COWBOY LETS GET HIMMM YEEEEE HAW
9 0 ReplyAnyone else furiously drinking coffee to watch a race that should've been convenient but for some reason isn't?
8 0 ReplyNope, it's a very convenient Sunday afternoon race for us Aussies, doesn't happen often.
7 0 ReplyStill not sure what they were thinking with the schedule. Itโs crazy that itโs more convenient to watch the races live that are on the other side of the world than one a single time zone away. Iโm just planning on starting the replay tomorrow morning. Donโt have the stamina to stay up that late anymore!
4 0 ReplyThe explanation that I saw was that Europeans will be able to wake up and have a cup of coffee with the race. Apparently there are more fans there.
4 0 ReplyThe explanation I saw was that the timing was adjusted to traffic needs on the strip.

Youโre also American I take it? Iโm about to go to Wallyโs and grab a slushee and an energy drink just in case I need em. Itโs starting midnight my time so not bad but if the ending goes to 3 thatโs when Iโll need some cafรฉine.
3 0 ReplyJust waking up and getting ready to install myself in front of the tv. I do feel sympathy for you US fans, but I must admit I like these morning races.
3 0 ReplyI don't think I'm going to last an entire race if there's a red flag lol
1 0 Reply
Oh shieeet Norris nooo :(
7 0 ReplyLeclerc will burn his tires, and perez will get him for the 2nd.
If the tires fall off too much, he might get got by piastri as well
Edit: piastri seems to be falling off, so it's probable lec could keep the 3rd
6 0 ReplyWelp. I am impressed by this race. Much better than I expected. As good of a first race as you can get.
6 0 Reply4 way fight for the 1st, this race is shaping up to be fantastic.
Edit: OK maybe 3 way fight
6 0 ReplyYeah Piastri was hoping for a red flag.
2 0 Reply
This is so forced and awkward lmfao
5 0 Reply"Give me 5 more seconds, not like I give a shit" -Max
5 0 ReplyI have no clue who I'd vote for as DOTD. Great work for Perez, but it's more a return to form from bad form than above and beyond IMO.
Also, poor Charles, he keeps making mistakes like this.
5 0 ReplyHamilton for his overtakes perhaps?
3 0 ReplyMy vote would have gone for Perez if he were P1 now, right now it feels between Verstappen, Stroll and Sainz for me.

4 0 ReplyExpected this to be the biggest most exciting celebrity packed grid walk. It did not deliver.
4 0 ReplyParis Hilton loves Las Vegas and F1, what more do you want?
1 0 ReplyLewis Hamilton Baby

It's up to you now perez. FINISH THE MISSION
4 0 ReplyShockingly good race. I was very wrong about this venue. So very wrong.
4 0 ReplyMax feels like he's on the back foot here. This is going to be interesting.
4 0 ReplyI knew that corner would have a victim. The braking zone in a bend when it's this cold is difficult as hell
4 0 ReplyAt this point there could be one of several winners. Interesting!
4 0 ReplyI absolutely love the cool down car. That's great!
4 0 ReplyBieber looks unimpressed
4 0 Reply5s time penalty for Max? Man's gonna have a 30s lead by the end of the race.
3 0 ReplyAh man, oil remnants on the even side of the starting grid is no good.
3 0 ReplyThis might give Checo a win
3 0 ReplyThis race is massively exceeding expectations. So much action it's kind of crazy.
3 0 ReplyHey all! Quite some drama already.
3 0 ReplyBro max just wants to podcast with his buddies let him do it ๐ญ๐ญ
3 0 ReplyWhat a weird place to do a podcast.
3 0 ReplyHunt who down? Gamer is 4 seconds off of stroll lmao
3 0 ReplyHoly shit what a pass and what a great race!
3 0 ReplyOverheat!?!
Wow
3 0 ReplyWOW! Amazing move by Charles
3 0 ReplyRemember that was that move you thought was dirty at first glance by Max. ๐
But very smooth indeed.
2 1 ReplyI mean Charles did not push Perez off lmao
Also there was no damage
4 0 Reply
Ok. This race is surprising me. The conditions have seriously upset the field and is making it really interesting so far.
2 0 Replysad to see it hasn't been in favor of the williams so far
1 0 ReplyAbsolutely. I think Albon will stay in the points but it seems like theyโve lost their pace.
1 0 Reply
Did Verstappen overtake under the safety car when exiting the pits?
2 0 ReplyThere was a message about an unsafe release that was deemed no further investigation necessary. Don't think it was shown on F1TV either.
2 0 ReplyYeah. I saw that, but the unsafe release was a different thing. The event I'm talking about was directly after that as Verstappen slotted back in, he went ahead of either an Alpine or a Williams, I think.
I'll go back and look once the race is over.
Edit: I went back to lap 26/27 and Verstappen was definitely behind Ocon and then went past him while rejoining the pack.

DC chatting with Checo, Max and Charles still discussing the race.
2 0 ReplyOmg contact for Max. Holy shit what an eventful race.
2 0 ReplyI have no clue who is gonna win. I love this
2 0 ReplyWhy didn't they force them to swap during the safety car? Seriously
2 0 ReplyAnd he fucked it up... Poor Charles.
2 0 ReplyWhen the camera pans to random people in the boxes.
2 0 ReplyOh wow, this is great for those that pitted early
2 0 ReplyPerez second on fresh tires - he was 15th earlier!
2 0 Reply
Checo needs to do what Carlos did when he was leading. Keep Charles just in DRS and between himself and Max. I think itโs his only chance.
Checo P3.
2 0 ReplyShame that Ferrari pit crew dropped the ball there with that long pit.
2 0 ReplyWhen I saw an alpha tauri out I nearly got a heart attack. Thankfully it was only tsunoda
3 1 Reply@wes 5 second Penatly for that T1 incident is not enough
Slap on the wrist for what Max did there
2 0 ReplyIMHO they should have let them swap, 5 second is meh - fair what could be seen from a racing incident (max not really predicting the grip right) to max being dumb and mean and just sending it
1 0 Reply
Checo is such a joke
5 3 ReplyFucked it up twice. Amazing.
1 2 ReplyIt almost feels like he's doing it on purpose at this point.
2 2 Reply
Wouldn't Verstappen get a significant higher amount of tyre wear with only half a front wing? I hope he wins so he can add to the record, but it seems rather unlikely.
1 0 ReplyIIRC that front wing endplate is mainly to manage outwash? So as long as the wing holds together without that plate, it should be fine
1 0 ReplyI didn't realise that. Thanks for explaining.
1 0 Reply
Perez needs to start applying more pressure on Leclerc now. Force him to make mistakes so he ruins his tyres. If anything they need to start acting like a team since they'll probably need to do it more next year.
1 0 ReplyWhy are the lights on the grid out?
1 0 ReplyHow tf has perez not caught up to ricciardo yet
Edit: there u go my gamer
1 0 ReplyI think all of the frontrunners at the back were fighting each other rather than those Infront for a while
1 0 Reply
Come on Max!!!!!!!! That was dirty as fuck :/
EDIT: Nevermind, I'm wrong. Not sure what was Osama bin Russel doing
2 1 ReplyHonestly looked like a racing incident. It was a very risky but valid move, but Russell couldn't have seen him.
I do wonder how that broken frontwing will work out now.
1 0 ReplyI feel like he went on the outside like crazy. Like he opened the door wide open just to shut it in his face. I think he got more damage than Max anyways, so I would say no penalty for this one.
1 0 Reply
5 laps in and I'm already regretting getting up so early
1 0 ReplyThat was a nice move from max
1 0 ReplyMax is being messy now he actually has to fight
2 1 ReplyI don't know if I'd call that move messy, he seemed to be alongside far enough for Russel to have known
4 0 Reply
I think the five seconds is a fair penalty in general. It's just that Max' performance is so abnormally dominant that for him it doesn't matter.
Edit: and in lap 14 it seems like it would have been less of a penalty to let Leclerc regain position since if they pit now, he could end up 4th.
1 0 ReplyBro are they taking them for another lap or something ๐๐๐
1 0 ReplyAnyways that was expected
In other news, COME ON DANNY GET SEARGANT COME ONNNNN GET HIM FOR THAT 16THHHHHHH
Edit: LETS GET ITTTTTT
