Looking for recommendations for a decent head torch for trail running, now that we're getting into the darker months.
I don't need a battery that will last for days (although that's a bonus), just something to light up the trails well, and that's fairly lightweight and weather proof.
I used this for a long time while doing some pretty dumb hikes. I can vouch for it being lightweight and weather proof. The strength of the light is not the brightest but it was plenty for me. I never had to change the battery but I also used it pretty sparingly.
I don't have a head torch, but I think I'll buy a Fenix HM65R-T (or a similar model). I'm particularly interested in the surdiness, and the standard lithium battery.
Yeah, the HM65R-T looks really good, but I think is a bit overkill for my needs right now. The smaller Fenix HL32R-T looks promising though, and I'm also considering the Nitecore UT27 800.
