Yeah, it wasn't great. The open world stuff is a nice idea, but it kinda kills the heavily scripted set pieces that makes the CoD campaigns so good.
And yes, they are good campaigns (maybe not this one, lawl), not every game needs to be the videogame version of Citizen Kane,
God, can we please have an Elden Ring moment where some new game jumps out of the bush and fucking slays that video game series?
I sure hope so. I'm excited for The Finals, but I doubt it's a COD killer
