Yeap, I'm here, previously from /r/newcastle. :-) Something something loud bang in Mayfield.
- Same here, I never really participated over there though, always just lurked around on Reddit. I'm taking some time to be a little more active over here and see if this takes off.

Does western Lake Mac count as being from Newy? I wasn't getting the loud bang in Mayfield reference but a google search led me to the reddit post, which led to the realisation that despite being on reddit for 10 years I had not subbed to /r/newcastle.
- Sure! I used to get some loud bangs around the peninsula growing up near Morisset too - maybe if you listen carefully you'll hear one too!
  
  I've lived in western Lake Mac for years and we get maybe one or two loud bangs every other month. They normally happen late at night during school holidays, so I generally assume some kids have found something to blow up.
