As a Mets fan I am glad to see Jake get his ring, finally, even if it is quite fitting that it happened while he was injured.
At the start of the season, I was torn between following the Rangers or the Rays. I stuck with the Rays only to be disappointed once again while the Rangers accomplished this feat seemingly against all odds. I am happy any way that we can now forget about 2011. Chris Young, Bruce Bochy and the whole team did a magnificent job, a well-deserved title.
