West Virginia school district promises, after lawsuit, to train teachers and administrators that public schools aren't churches
It's not possible to be an adult and a teacher in America, without understanding the separation of church and state. These alleged Christians knew what they were doing was illegal. They simply don't care.
Sidenote: what is this community? Every news item of the day hits one of those emotions.

The lawyers got $175,000 and the students got $2001, $1 if they don't go to college.

...the families will also receive up to $1 each from the district...
So some families will receive a dime or 35¢? I assumed it was a typo. :)
1 3 ReplyIt sounds like they only sued for $1 each. The point instead was to stop the action, not seek monetary punishment.
