Somehow despite less traffic and over 7000 subs being private, it still died?

My tinfoil hat tells me reddit is trying to hide the private sub page messages.

We did it Reddit!
Wouldn’t put it past them to have decided to do “maintenance” for the next two days to make the blackout seem like it was planned and within their control.
Reddit is protesting too by blacking out the whole site lol
Did we reddit hug of death reddit?
- I suspect we burried the API in delete requests.
